Hotel Grace

We came to the hotel for a planned lunch for 46 people after climbing Apparition Hill. We had great service and wonderful food in a very compressed time at our request. Great soup and meat platters. So happy we ate there. The hotel is convenient to many shops and St James Church.

This is a rewiew only for hotel restaurant. Unfortunately, when we googled for best restaurants in Medugorje, this one wasn’t listed at all. But receptionist in our (another) hotel has recommended this one, We had very nice dinner there, with very polite and helpful waiters. Sushi was excellent and other dishes as well. So it’s really pitty that this restaurant is not visible when gusts are searching for one!

Hotel Grace was a great location, very close to St. James Church. The rooms were comfortable, and the staff was helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good, and they also prepared custom omelets on request. Their restaurant was excellent! Would definitely stay here again.

The room we had was on the 1st floor. Room #107. Room size was good, it faces the main street but is quiet. Hotel is situated right next to St. James Church and across all the shops and restaurants. Cleanliness can be improved. The floors were dusty. Though the cleaner came daily. Our towels were changed daily which was great! Breakfast spread is dismal. Maybe it's winter and low season. Some days we had options for individually prepared omelette (actually only 1 day), other days were mass prepared sunny side up and scrambled eggs. Selection of bread is very limited and there is no toaster available. However, if you ask the staff on hand, they will gladly toast your bread. Fruit options also very limited and not really replenished for the 5 days we were there. We ate up all the pears and mini oranges after the first 2 days. We would come back and stay again for the location, but breakfast is not something I would write home about.

Hotel Grace more like Hotel Hell Hole!!! Went in on a quiet night and was told they were fully booked for dining however place was empty. Thought that was strange however decided to book a table for a different day. They didn’t want to take the booking for some reason however after some persuasion they reluctantly took the booking. Showed up at the correct time and day (place empty again) and asked for the table i booked however was told I wasn’t allowed in for some reason. Booking was deleted apparently and staff were rude and totally unapologetic. Very thick headed, rude and disrespectful people, definitely would not give them any business. Both times we went it was empty obviously that’s a clear sign. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

Beautiful hotel,perfect location, friendly staff and clean hotel. We had a pleasant stay and we highly recommend it. We will come back soon. Food is good and breakfast is super also It has a hairdresser and a nice restaurant. ……………………………..
