Atticus Hotel

Atticus is a special boutique. Location is ideal for the entire valley and walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Rooms are super comfortable with nice amenities. Great stay

We stayed here for a couples weekend. Each couple stayed in a studio room that was very well appointed and comfortable. I loved the curated books in each room and art. All staff were very welcoming. Great location to walk to good restaurants and coffee shops. Highly recommend.

The Atticus is oasis for work or play in McMinnville; close to amazing eateries, wine stops, and local businesses. Competent staff, great amenites, rooms are quiet; beds very comfortable!

The town's vibe is eclectic, historic, relaxed, and charming. The food and wine scene is phenomenal. Atticus is a beautiful representation of the general attitude of the area--kind and welcoming. There is an authenticity to the service that feels committed to the comfort of each individual. The decor is flawless. Rooms and common areas are spotless. Our only complaint was the continental breakfast, which was uninspired and consisted of stale pastries, warm yogurt, and fruit covered in flies for $15 per person. Maybe it is more appetizing earlier (we came down after 9AM), but we just left and went a few blocks down the street and had an amazing breakfast for the same price. The check-in and valet experiences were wonderful. Checking out in the rain was efficient, but lacked a covered area. Room.amenities were top notch. I love having real cups, plates, glassware and utensils. Coffee and tea in glass containers maintains freshness. French press was available as was real cream in the fridge. Fireplace was wonderful when it got cold in the evenings. We appreciated the explanations on the bedside tables of the bedding, which is a European duvet without a top sheet. I did not find the pillows and mattress comfortable (pillows are too soft and mattress was very firm), but the good quality of everything was obvious. The high ceilings were appealing, as was the natural light from the large windows. It is a bit noisy in the area if you are a light sleeper, so I was glad to be on the top floor. Our view wasn't much, but we weren't there for that. The proximity to great food and wine country was the draw, and on that it consistently delivers. The concierge offered great recommendations and the waiting area downstairs is beautifully appointed and very inviting. Overall a great stay.

This was our second stay at the Atticus Hotel and it certainly confirmed our opinion that this is one of the loveliest properties where we have stayed. And we travel a lot, both domestically and internationally. Everyone on the staff is so friendly and helpful and the vibe is laid back elegance. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, sparkling clean and very comfortable. The made to order espresso, always available, is a great way to kickstart your day in the Willamette Valley. The concierge was extremely helpful and lovely to work with in assisting with dining reservations and in securing a tasting (outside of their normal tasting hours) at a specific winery for our group. This is the perfect location for your wine tasting adventures in the Willamette Valley. The walkability of the downtown, just steps from the hotel, for dinner, after enjoying a day of wine tasting is a huge plus. We would never consider staying anywhere else in this area.

Made some last minute adjustments to our hotel plans so we could be in Mcminnville for access to our tasting appointments and a better selection of hotel amenities and restaurant options. We were able to get a room for two nights at the last minute and were very pleased with our room and service experience. Staff is attentive and pleasant. Less expensive options are available, but those with the services , amenities, and location are few, maybe one other, in McMinnville downtown. We would return if our plans bring us here again.

Way too pricey at $416/night for a basic and very small room. No loyalty partner discounts or government, AAA, AARP , or senior rates. Upside, great location. Staff was great. Bed was awesome.

I attended a 3 day group event this past weekend and The Atticus was at the top of the list of the recommended hotels. I saw that it was across the street from our event space and didn't even check the reviews before booking. From beginning to end, it was a delightful experience. The hotel staff was attentive and responsive. Everyone was fantastic and Dia was extra special. The welcome sparkling wine and coffee service set the tone. The french press coffee and loose leaf tea in the room, in-room wine fridge and local walnuts/hazelnuts and nutcracker were all little touches that made for a unique and welcoming stay. My only minor suggestions would be to replace the little pillows on the bed and add a fan/cleaning spray in the gym.

Pricey but the quality and vibe can't be beat. add to that the convenient location for marvelous Willamette Valley wine tasting! My only regret is that they no longer offer a warm breakfast option.
