During my sojourn in Mayen, I stayed in a very comfortable apartment, where there was everything needed, such as a kitchen, a refrigerator, an oven, a kettle, a coffee machine and other electric appliances usually employed in a house. Everything worked properly and effectively. The beds were very comfy, their mattresses having the necessary toughness for assuring a good and healthy rest. The other pieces of furniture, such as the sofa, are also comfortable. The only flaw in this respect is the lack of a table lamp. Albeit I asked for one, I was provided with none during the time of my stay. The bathroom is also adequate, with the exception of the bathtub where tall people cannot upright stand. This is none the less pointed out in the advertisements, so that one must be aware before booking that apartment. The place is very well soundproofed. Therefore, no noise is heard inside despite the fact that it's not very far from the road. It's a peaceful place. Other advantages are: the parking by the house, which besides is free of charge, and a nice gallery on the entrance to the apartment, where one can have a coffee while enjoying a nice view. The lady dealing with the customers, who seems to be the owner, is very kind, helpful and friendly. She is always ready to give any guidance and advice in order that one's stay in the city of Mayen turns out to be more pleasant and interesting. She endeavoured to help me to accede to internet with my computer, unfortunately with not much success due to the fact that apparently wifi doesn't work very well there. It's in any case a good apartment to lodge in, insofar as being put up there may certainly assure a pleasant stay in Mayen.
