Paradise Beach House

This guesthouse was amazing value for money. It is just a minute's walk from the beach, and from restaurants. The family who host are amazingly friendly and kind, such good hosts. There are two rooms, upstairs so there is a lovely balcony to have meals on and good privacy. The room is very large and clean, as is the bathroom. There is no hot water, which in this area is not much of an issue. The breakfast is included and is delicious. On my day of departure, I left at 4am for a National Park safari and the host made breakfast for me to takeaway and even got up to give it to me straight out of the fridge so it was fresh. I chose to have dinner both nights, you can choose the time, and it was amazing home Sri Lankan cooking. I think it is the best meal you will have in the area, and great value. Hot water would be good in cold times of the year, but this is usually not a problem on the south coast.
