Plum Crooked Poet’s Cottage ~ Once Upon A Time ~ Alpine Charm ~ Not Damaged ~

The small Homey Cottage was perfect for our weekend weeding in Madison County. The location right near downtown Marshal was an easy walk away. The mouuntains and scenery is breathtaking in the whole area. If your plans have you going this way, i recommend staying here and spending time with the Good People of Marshal!!

We had a great stay in the cottage. It was the ideal location-within walking distance to downtown Marshall and our family. The cottage was clean and comfortable. We had everything we could have wanted-including a loaf of fresh baked bread and local jam. Let’s help Marshall rebuild and support small business. I’d definitely give the cottage 5 stars!!

Best Cozy Cottage! Tammy is an absolutely wonderful and accomodating host. She truly makes you feel like family and ensures your stay is comfortable and that you have everything you need! Her and her mom also make the BEST homemade jam. The cottage has so much character, is truly cozy and feels like a home. This is our preferred location to stay everytime we come up here.

Plum Crooked cottage is lovely! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The cottage is a thoughtful blend of tasteful, period furnishings, charming decorations and all the comforts you’d hope for. We loved Marshall. It has lots of character and charm, nice restaurants and music. We couldn’t walk there from the cottage since the road is too narrow but it’s an easy drive with plenty of parking. The cottage was nicely set up for our two corgis who could relax on the porches since they were gated. Tammy was an attentive host, and we highly recommend staying at her lovely cottage. Thanks for the homemade jam and bread!

Adorable & Eclectic! Plum crooked was an amazing little world in itself. The cottage has everything you need to spend time away from the world or to stir up your creative juices! From the perfect decor to the fully stocked kitchen, to comfy ricking chairs

Plum fantastic Very lovely place! It's obvious that Tammy put a lot of thought into decorating the home- it's up to date but still has that old-school feel that matches the age of the house (90+ years old). Very thoughtful with what is included in the house (pretty much anything you could need). It's nice to find a smaller house to rent when it's just 2 people (we don't need 5 bedrooms/10 beds!), but it was a "full home". Great location- very quiet and private, but walking distance to the little downtown, and an easy drive to Asheville or the Blue Ridge Parkway. Tammy was very quick to respond to messages and checked in to make sure we were doing okay and to see if we needed anything.

Great stay Charming property very close to the main street in Marshall. The manager, Tammy, was responsive when we had a minor issue with the electronic door lock.

Fairytale perfect Plum Crooked is a sweet stroll into a more cozy time. It’s nestled against some mountain, with a creek right off the front porch, that invites you to sit. Inside we found a mix of vintage and modern, making our stay comfortable. Our arrival was greeted with homemade jam and fresh local croissants making us feel pampered. We stayed 5 days, could have stayed more
