Riad Zineb

Perfect Riad- centrally positioned, very clean, peaceful inside with amazing pool to cool down and nicely decorated. What we loved most though was the staff and how private it felt. It only has 8 bedrooms (though some for 3-5 ppl), so most of the time it feels like you have space to yourself. We spent multiple evenings on the terraces without being interrupted and anyone in sight. Pool was always available with plenty of space to sit around and relax. Staff is amazing. They have taken care of us very well, from walking us to our excursions pick up early in the morning to bringing food and tea orders from Riad Karmela. Nothing was a trouble for them. If you’re looking for privacy and relaxing quiet environment after busy days in the city, and most amazing service, we would recommend. And you have an option to spend time / eat out at their other busier riads where there are bars and restaurants. We will definitely come back!

A lovely Riad to stay in. We were there in June 2024. The Riad is part of a 3 with the others being Princess and Karmela which are close by. All 3 are wonderful but we preferred Riad Zineb because it was smaller I think only 6 rooms. The staff were excellent and couldn’t do enough for us. Everyone spoke very good English. The security staff met us at our drop off point as you can’t get vehicles to our Riad and they carried our bags to and from our taxi. The location is very good being easy walking distance from the central square and all other local attractions. The food at the hotel was very good and tasty. Riad Zineb has a plunge pool in the centre of the ground floor for cooling off after a hard day’s walking and exploring. There is a rooftop terrace also, where daily breakfast is available. Hakim needs a special mention as part of the reason this Riad experience was so good - he could not do enough for you, was always super friendly and helpful and went out of his way to ensure you had a great (and safe) experience. Riad Zineb is part of a group of 4 Riads, so you can essentially use any of them while there and the staff encourage you to do so. Riad Zenib was well appointed and so quiet and relaxing considering what is going on down on the streets. We had nice breakfasts in the morning, very relaxing and the staff never make you feel rushed or in any hurry. I actually arrived on the night of my birthday and on the following morning was brought out an ice-cream cake with candle for breakfast while Hakim sang Happy Birthday in English & Morroccan to me. I never mentioned my birthday so they must have noticed on my passport, so a very nice gesture. We ate dinner in Riad Karmela, another Riad in the group, on a couple of nights and it was good. Prices similar to that in UK. Our waiter on the first night was exceptional, made it a lovely dinner. On the second night, the service was somewhat lacking despite their being practically no-one there. The roof top terraces are a great place to go and relax with a drink and some nibbles, lots of seating and sun beds to choose from. Very quiet and secluded - a nice contrast to the Souks (markets). Nothing can really prepare you for the streets in the old town, so just remember to walk on the right and stay in when you can - it will help avoid getting clipped by the passing vehicles. The staff in the Riad warned us about the usual scams on the streets, so its best to politely ignore people, i.e. say no thank you and do not engage. If anyone mentions 'tannery' or 'leather' or '1-day only' - stop and refuse - DO NOT FOLLOW THEM - either stand still or turn around and walk in the opposite direction. A good rule to follow is - NEVER follow anyone or accept directions. We had a great experience in Marrakech and the Riad was a lovely place to stay with great staff, and provided us with a haven to relax in. I would recommend a break here to anyone who has never been before.

This was a great riad in the center of all the action. We loved our family room here. It was so beautiful yet comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and they even accommodated us when we are going on an excursion. They really have a very special group of people working together to take care of their guests. This is the best hospitality we have encountered anywhere.

Quiet oasis in Marrakech. Billed as premium rooms but not quite. Breakfast very good. Service first class. Very friendly. Bit difficult to find. Shower not working initially but was fixed. Would go there again because of the service. ……..

Where to start.... Riad Zineb is a truly, relaxing haven amongst the hussle and bussle of Marrakech life.. The team both here (special thanks to Hakim) and also the team at Riad Karmela where we enjoyed wonderful food and spa treatments have been exceptional. The quality of service is priceless and we leave having made new friendships... We will all be sure to come back!
