Riad Beata

We had the most amazing time at Riad Beata. Abdul and Noura were great hosts. Abdul was helpful with information on what to avoid around Marrakech and the main square to prevent us being scammed. He also walked us to the square the first time to ensure we knew the way, which was very helpful for us. The Riad was beautiful inside. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. After day 1 we felt safe walking from the Riad to the square. The local children are helpful with directions if you get lost in the winding streets trying to find the Riad. We asked Noura to cook for us one evening, this was our favourite meal from our time in Marrakech. She made us a beautiful starter, a vegetable tagine, and a little dessert. We ate it upstairs as the sun set. Thank you Noura for your wonderful cooking. The breakfasts are also great and we enjoyed having them each morning. We highly recommend staying at Riad Beata. It was great value for money. If we come back to Marrakech we will be sure to stay here again. Thank you Abdul and Noura.

Riad Beata war eine wundervolle und entspannende Oase nach einer langen Tagesreise von Chefchaouene nach Marrakesch. Ich kam ziemlich spät an (gegen Mitternacht), aber Beata hat mich trotzdem untergebracht. Abdul begrüßte mich mit Höflichkeit und heißem Pfefferminztee. Ich hatte meine Buchung aufgrund einer Flugstornierung in letzter Minute bei ihnen umgebucht, und sie reagierten schnell und waren leicht zu kommunizieren. Sie arrangierten auch ein privates Auto für mich vom Gate aus. Ich wünschte, ich wäre noch ein paar Tage bei ihnen geblieben, denn es war ein atemberaubend schöner Ort. Es war auch das sauberste Riad, in dem ich je übernachtet habe! Vielen Dank, Riad Beata, dass Sie mir geholfen haben, meine Reise auf einem hohen Niveau zu beenden.

Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt im RIAD Beata sehr genossen. Ausgezeichnete Lage, in der Nähe der Altstadt. Das RIAD ist sehr sauber und unser Zimmer war komfortabel. Das Ambiente ist sehr charmant. Wir nutzten die vom RIAD-Eigentümer organisierten Aktivitäten. Hamam, Kochkurs und der Wüstentrip. Ich habe jeden Moment geliebt. Vielen Dank für ein unvergessliches Erlebnis

I had a wonderful, peaceful and enjoyable stay at this small beautiful guest house. From the moment of our arrival we felt at home. The host shared with us all the tips and information about the area. Our room was perfect, very clean and well designed mixed between modernity and traditional style which makes it more unique The service provided was excellent and our host went above and beyond to make our stay more comfortable. He was very passionate about morocco and the city ,he shared with us many tips and fun facts about it's highlights and all the places of interest. The house itself is decorated in simple but in a traditional Moroccan accents with the modern accommodations the heating and cooling system was super strong. Very comfortable bed and bedsheets changed at our request. Breakfast is simple but very delicious. You should ask for a Moroccan coffee . The pancakes home made is delicious. I would come back to this guest house at any time without any hesitation and thank you so much for hosting me in this very unique and beautiful riad .

Let’s start from the beginning…. Myself and my son arrived at the Riad in the evening . We were followed by someone who spoke about knowing where the Riad was . We DID NOT ask him for directions . Once we arrived at the property the manager let us in. The man was demanding money from us for showing us to the property . I explained several times I did not ask for directions and would not be giving him any money . The manager stood with the door open and even allowed him to step in . Why wouldn’t you tell him to leave and shut the door instead of allowing him to try and intimate us ? Luckily I’m not easily intimidated but it’s not the point it wasn’t a nice start to our holiday . Once we arrived in the room it looked completely different to the pictures extremely small for 2 adults . Nevertheless we left our luggage and left out to explore for an hour . Once back I sat on the bed and noticed how hard it was . (Single beds were requested due to sharing with my 21 year old son). The next morning I had pain down my left side due to the bed being so hard so went to speak to the manager . This went on for a few days back and forth , asking for extra duvets to sleep on . I was then told there was nothing that could be done . As I was still unhappy I was told to contact *********** . I could tell the manager wasn’t particularly bothered or interested. I then asked to speak with the owner (the managers wife ) and was told she was away in the USA. I managed to get her number and sent 2 messages . Both messages were ignored . Over a period of 5 days I spoke with the manager face to face and on WhatsApp numerous times . Why as a manager you are communicating on WhatsApp is beyond me. Laziness and lack of interest ( you live within with Riad) Quick to ask for the tax on the first day though. I don’t think it’s fair I paid almost £600 to be treated like that . You ruined our first experience of Marrakesh. It’s not good enough to say ‘what should I do about it ‘ and ‘sorry’ I should have been refunded for the days left after my complaint so I could go and stay somewhere with a reasonable bed . I even explained I’d donated a kidney last year so needed a comfortable bed . This is not too much to ask it’s basic . Didn’t want to refund any money at all…GREEDY. Not sure why you some platforms you’ve advised a rooftop pool ? It’s a small terrace area with your personal laundry room . Over the wall is a building of rubble where rubbish is burnt and a graveyard so not a nice view at all . Also can I address the breakfast as it looks nothing like the picture . It consist of 2 flat pastries , a small orange juice , an over sweet Moroccan tea , a small jam & marmalade and a huge basked of bread . This is the same every day . The bathroom Was not upto a good hygiene standard (see pics) I informed the manager the hot water had gone cold . This went on for 2 days with an ‘engineer ‘ who had no idea what he was doing banging for 2 days throughout the day and night causing the

After staying here before, I had to come back with my family as my mother and her brother were celebrating their birthdays. Riad Beata made the event so special for my family! We rented to the entire house for us 6 people and had plenty of space. The warm welcome, the beautiful terrace, and excellent guidance for arranging dinner reservations and tours made our stay exceptional. Plus, the rooms and the beds are quite comfortable! I'll definitely be back again as I consider Riad Beata my "home away from home" in Marrakech.

This was not the first time I stayed in this Riaad! I come Everingham back because I love this area. 5 min.to Djel Mfnaa. The streets are 100 % safe because of the Palais of the King. (Our neigbour.) The Riaad is cozy and clean.The guy is handsome and very helpfull. walk with you with your luggage to the parking. For me it feels like I rent a whole private house for myself ♥︎ You can drink your morrocan tea or have your breakfast at the rooftop. Enjoying tje sunset or sunrise. Really Riad Beata for me is the best. give it 5 stars .
