The Duporth Riverside

We have stayed here several times and used to own an apartment in the complex. Great location and views. The apartment we recently rented (506) had no blinds/curtains in the front lounge. Not sure why? The sun streaming in the windows in the morning required you to wear your sunglasses! We hated the feeling at night. Only 5 coat hangers, 1 tea towel and no oven mitts. Hopefully the people who stay next enjoy the 10 coat hangers for $5 we bought! Cooked a roast for family on Sunday and had to use the lone tea towel to get things in and out of the oven - not safe at all! No salt and pepper provided! Main bed was very uncomfortable. Management and owners need to lift the standards to attract people to stay. A view is not everything when basic needs are not being met.

I enjoyed everything about our stay, close to everything, our apartment was very clean and we had an amazing view. I would highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic location and property manager/reception were very accommodating. The unit we stayed in probably could benefit with some maintenance in the bathroom, and double glazing for the noise from the nearby pub and the floor above, however these were small items on an overall enjoyable experience and we would stay again.

Well-designed and located off Duporth Ave, a modern strip of shops and places to eat. Stayed in room 302 for three nights. Very spacious apartment with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Impeccably clean and well-maintained. It is big enough for a family, but equally suitable for a couple. The second two bedrooms and a bathroom are closed off unless you have paid for them as part of your booking. The natural view over the Maroochy river was the highlight for us. The view looks out over the water, Goat and Channel Islands and beyond to a natural horizon and Mt Coolum. Goat and Channel Islands are part of Maroochy River Conservation Park. The view is ever-changing with the tides and weather. I photographed 20 bird species and heard the calls of a few more on the breeze. The 180 degree views are accessible from the living area as well as the master bedroom. The kitchen was also excellent with good quality and array of cutlery, crockery and appliances, including Nespresso coffee machine (BYO pods). Pool is also excellent - suitable for either relaxing or swimming laps. Gym also well-appointed and maintained. Underground car park easy to access. A hearty 5/5 and will definitely be back.

We've stayed here several times and it never disappoints! Our Unit was clean, very spacious and we appreciated that the kitchen was very well equipped. The lounge/dining furniture is very comfortable to sit back and relax. Facilities were great and the location is fabulous.

Great location with excellent outlook from the unit we were in. The staff were friendly and helpful.
