Sunrise Hotel

This hotel is absolutely fab the staff are so friendly from the cleaners bar restaurant bar and front of house the hotel is spotless nothing is too much for them to help you and speaking to guests in the hotel people come back year after year I can understand why great location great staff definitely recommend this hotel as I’m booking again for next year 5service

We have been coming to hotel sunrise for the last 4 years. We are young couple with two children. We started coming to this hotel 2019 all the way until now. We have officially had our last time this year here but nevertheless I’ll give you the most honest review. This hotel is situated on the quieter side of the Mae Maris strip. You only have to walk 5 mins down the strip and you will enter the lively hustle and bus slow of bars, restaurants, beaches and water parks. The hotel is also across the road from a taxi range so if you don’t not want to walk in the heat the other option is right in your doorstep. Otherwise walking from this hotel to the end of the marina I’d say about 30 mins the whole thing but that’s to get right to the end. 10 mins in and you have arrived at everyrhing. The hotel it self for me, who likes nice hotels I can say it’s not 10 stars but it’s definitely a strong 8. The grounds are beautiful and exceptionally CLEAN. The staff maintain your rooms everysingle day. The cleaning teams are so effective and thorough they really leave your room spotless and if you ever have a birthday they always decorate your rooms. The cleaning goes throughout the hotel down to the pool. Just always fresh and clean. You can get fresh towels everyday from reception. The staff are so helpful, warm and very family oriented. They all work together, effectively and fast. They do a heck of a job attending to all your needs. The bar is ran by big boss who is so kind and the rest of the staff everysingle one just have a professional etiquette that you cannot ignore. The staff here are like family. They really really care for this hotel and the people that stay. They are all so kind and polite. Honestly the best team. Thank you always for going above and beyond these last few years. They serve an outstanding breakfast every morning. With the chef who’s been there for 20 years plus. A fresh egg station making whatever eggs you feel ti eat omelettes fired boiled poached. The ranges of food are endless, cereals fresh seasonal fruit, English, Turkish breakfasts, teams coffee juices fresh cakes and pastry’s everything you can think of, all types of honesta and jams, breads yogurts and salads. Perfect down to a t. The lunch at the bar again SEASONED food, perfect kebabs better than most actual restaurants, the pastas salads everything all the food here is perfectly made. Even fruits salads. The hotels has a private beach which are shingles the only let down so bring some swim shoes or a good pair of slippers for the beach. You get service of food and drinks while you lay out by the pool and beach. The pool is always always clean. There is a mc Donald’s about 7 min walk from the front, plus supermarket and ofc the shopping. The hotel in itself is great for a chill yet fun vibe. Lovely hotel in a great location, friendly staff - shout out to Ramazan the porter, such a nice man! Breakfast was great with lots of choice. Pool area clean and welcoming. The hotel does have a lot of space that isn't utilised, I feel they could improve these areas. Our room wasn't very clean when we arrived, the bedside table was covered in a previous guests hair and around the lamp was the same!

Fantastic hotel in beautiful surroundings on the beach. All the staff are kind and friendly and can’t do enough for you. The hotel was spotlessly clean. Rooms were cleaned everyday and fresh towels left.The pool area was immaculate with no sun bed wars.This was our first time at this hotel and definitely won’t be our last! If you want a few days of paradise then book this place- you won’t be disappointed!!!

There's good and bad with this hotel so the good! the bar staff are fantastic so helpful and just happy lovely guys couldn't do enough for you and they all had a smile on their face plus they're amazing with the kids they are probably my favourite part of the hotel. The breakfast was good it had lots to choose from and the omelettes were lovely but on day 4 my sister did get food poisoning from the poached eggs also the poached eggs were pink but I think that might be from the Vinegar they put in the water but I'm not sure. When we arrived the rooms were terrible there were sand all over not just on the floor but on the beds the bins hadn't been emptied and the sink, shower and mirrors were filthy plus there was rubbish on the floor so we asked for the cleaners to come in the next day and they did but didn't do anything but fold a sheet into a shape so sand still everywhere! bins full! rubbish on the floor! No toilet roll! no clean towels! So we didnt ask them to come in again our whole holiday we just cleaned ourselves which isnt something i wanted to do on holiday. the safe kept breaking and the man who kept fixing it for us wanted to know what code I was going to use which when he left I changed the code otherwise there's no point having a safe. I think that glass should be banned around the pool people kept smashing glasses and some bits were going into the pool and a couple of children had glass in their feet. Sun beds weren't a problem we didn't save any but when we came down there was no problem getting a few. Great location and if we wanted to get on the bus it was only 50p per person. The beach is literally about 6 steps away from the pool area with free sunbeds. The beds were very comfortable too!!.. But I really have to say again how wonderful the bar staff were they honestly made such a positive experience for our family so thank you so much guys. But unfortunately we wouldn't stay here again.

Stayed here at the beginning of September (2024) and we were very pleased with the standards of the hotel. Firstly the staff on reception were polite, friendly and explained everything. Paid £5 for the safe in the room. I would like to praise the hotel porter (name unknown) who was excellent at running around for everyone carrying luggage to rooms and the buses on return. The room we had (324) was very clean,credit to the lady cleaner who came in every day and left different floral designs on the bed and replaced towels. It was spacious with plenty of storage, big bathroom with walk in shower, a kettle with tea & coffee and even a bottle of water in the fridge. We had a side sea view which was nice looking out from the balcony towards the promenade at the back of the hotel which led along the sea front all the way in to Marmaris resort. Out of the front of the hotel was the main road with plenty of shops, a few bars and restaurants (The Greasy Spoon was excellent) We stayed B&B and the dining area had nice views out to the sea, it was really clean and well stocked with most breakfast items. the staff were friendly and worked hard but after the last mouthful of food or drink your plate/cup was whipped away. The pool area was average size with a reasonable sized pool, and not too bad bar area but one thing we noticed was that this area got packed up and cleaned down quite early (5.30pm ish) All in all this is a really nice hotel and deserves the 4 stars rating for location, cleanliness and nice staff, so we would return in the future.
