Prince of Wales Marlow

We stayed here for one night, and enjoyed it very much. The room and en-suite was very clean and well appointed. The staff that we met were friendly and helpful. What more could you want in the centre of Marlow. We would certainly stay here again.

A free car park is a cracking start to my visit, and there's plenty of spaces for vehicles. There's no theme to this pub. It's just a nice boozer. Good selection of any type of beer, lager, ciders, and shorts. I received a warm welcome from Nicole and, after a quick pint, was shown to my room (6). It had a single bed and was fine for just me. There's no air-conditioning, but that wasn't a problem. The window opened, providing sufficient ventilation. The en-suite was fine, too, but be careful with those 2 steps if you get up in the middle of the night. My room also had a perfectly decent TV with freeview and netflix access. The stairs that lead to the room are quite steep, I'd say, so do bear that in mind. Breakfast was perfectly decent and freshly cooled on demand. My only criticism is that it was served on a cold plate, which is just a personal bug bear of mine, and the breakfast cooled quickly as a result. Would I stay again? Definitely.

From the moment we arrived we had service with a smile from all the staff particularly from the manager Nicole. We were made to feel welcome by all the staff and the landlord Martin. In a time of themed bars catering to the tourists it was nice to stay in a traditional pub which had a large section of cask beers as well as the normal lagers., ciders and Guinness. The bedroom we had was lovely and very clean. It was situated 5 mins walk from the High Street and 10 mins away from the picturesque river front. If we are in this area again would definitely stay here.

A quaint little hotel near the centre of Marlowe. The rooms are furnished really well & the staff were warm & welcoming. A nice size TV in the rooms with a good variety of Chanel’s & pay per view Chanel’s if you want Netflix. You have a fridge & Iron & Ironing board. There is bottled water also, which is a nice little addition, with tea & Coffee making facilities. Normally you get 4milk portions in most hotels, here was a bowl with around 10-12 portions. All in all a good little hotel The only negative is the seating opposite the Gin bar could do with updating as it is very tired & worn out. It all in all a warm friendly hotel.

We had a lovely stay. The staff and owners were very friendly and made us feel welcome. The room was spotless and had all the amenities we needed. Would definitely recommend. Good value and included a full English breakfast. Very close to the high street where there were independent shops and restaurants.

Stayed at the Prince of Wales on a little road trip. Warm welcome, nice clean room, fluffy towels and literally loads of tea, coffee and milk in the room! Decent sized TV too. Good nights sleep and a good breakfast served by friendly staff. An excellent pint of Timothy Taylor's Landlord from friendly bar staff. Would recommend for a nights stay in Marlow 👍
