Colonna Beach Hotel

We did not book full board but failed to realize we would be treated as second class citizens because of this. Upon checkin were misled into thinking we would be able to eat dinner there but were later told they couldn't squeeze 2 people into their dinner service so we had to go out into the pouring rain to search for dinner. It was the same for breakfast the next morning, later we were told we could come for breakfast but only atfer 9:00 but it was 35 Euro a person and all we wanted was a croissant and a coffee. We went to the restaurant on the beach where we had 2 croissants 2 cappacinos and a fresh OJ for 13 euro (saved 57 Euro with that )

Such a cute hotel with access to an amazing beach! Service here was outstanding. We were sad to not stay longer.

Hi. I was not happy that they don't have wifi as guests should always be given wifi if they stay at the resort. Then the sun beds on the beach they wanted to charge the guest 42 euros for beds close to the water and 37 euros for the other bed. That is unacceptable. The sub beds should be included in the fee for guests of the resort. They are wanting to rip the tourist off.

I had an amazing stay at Spiaggia Marinella. The room is very close to the beach, you can hear the waves crashing and there is a view from the balcony. The place is very comfortable, including AC, warm water and dining table. Around there is a restaurant in the same building with good coffee and croissants, plus the windsurfing school, highly recommend both as well. There is also parking available, and plenty of beaches to visit very near by, in case you want to explore the area more. The host of the accommodation (Federica) is very welcoming and offers you all comfort & required info of the area, in order to get the best of your vacation. I will definitely come back, as I felt fully recharged after staying here!

What a surprise! Exactly what I was looking for. A simple retreat for 5 days to spend a few days with a dear friend at a bargain price in paradise. To be honest I wasn’t expecting much for that price in early July Sardinia. The apartment is small but perfectly formed in a complex built in the 80’s. Basic it is (and don’t expect to find even a dish cloth or a bit of soap) BUT BUT BUT it’s absolutely stunning value. All the basics are there and the terrace over looking the beach and the pool makes up for any minor ******* about the equipment. The stunning Marinella beach is but 2 minutes from your door and the pool about 45 seconds less! The pool is ‘staffed’ by some very competent and good humoured young folk! It’s large enough to get away from the kids if you need to and if you can avoid the obvious busy times, you might have it to yourself. From the terrace, you can see in real time how busy the beach or the pool is without leaving the shade of your own pad! The port of Marana where you can find a perfectly good little supermarket for all you need , a tabacchino, bar/cafe is about 10 minutes on foot which is very handy if you don’t want to pay the ludicrous price for a hire car in July! For me, the two greatest highlights of this trip where, -No.2- The bar/restaurant/tabacchino at the bottom of the stairs from the apartment! Fantastic coffee (mostly!) good service especially in the evening, great food and wine at seriously excellent prices less than a minute from your door! get go Federica was so so helpful -No.1- MUST be FEDERICA. This lovely woman made all the difference for me. It was she that answered my every question even on her days off. Federica was always there if I needed help with anything. She gave me the confidence that I’d done the right thing. Federica will make a big difference to YOU.
