San Rafael! The perfect suburban/nature city to visit in California. It’s located in Marin County and is about a 40 min drive from San Francisco. San Rafael is the perfect city to explore (especially Civic Center or Downtown) or to make a pit stop if you are heading towards Sonoma/Napa County to do some wine tasting. If you do decide to stay in San Rafael, you should book your next stay at Fourpoints by Sheraton hotel! I got the pleasure in staying at the Four points by Sheraton hotel.When I first walked into the lobby, the staff Pesty and John were able to take care of me right away. They were Very nice a friendly at the front desk as I was checking into the hotel. They even are offering free cookies to guest at the hotel as well so that was a plus. After I was all checked in, I was able to be on the 4th floor which is the highest floor at the hotel. I got to stay in the modern Deluxe Guest room- 1 king bed During my stay. When I walked in my room the room was modern, casual room that was clean and all prepared for. The bathroom was also modern and clean as well with everything working. The most beautiful part about this room was the view. I can’t tell you how beautiful my view from my room was. It was so gorgeous that it looked like a million dollar view. You can see the beautiful pool patio including the palm trees and see the astonishing mountains of San Rafael . I highly reccomend staying at the fourth floor if you can facing the pool because you get to wake up in the morning to that incredible million dollar view. That is a major plus in my opinion. I wanted to highlight the pool patio at the hotel because I think it’s such as gorgeous area to look and be in. When you walk outside, there are a bunch of seating area where people can hangout and just relax. At night, what is so special about that area is there is a fire pit are where you can get yourself warm after a long day. The pool in general is a nice large pool with a hot tub and Four Points by Sheraton is known to have the largest pool patio in Marin County. People can just relax at the pool or go for a swim as well. Overall, this area has to be the nicest area at this hotel. Overall, if you are looking for a nice place to stay in San Rafael, I highly recommend staying here at Four Points by Sheraton. The views, the staff, the scenery, the cleanliness of the hotel was on point. If I’m ever in San Rafael again which is a huge yes, I would stay here agaian and you guys should book your stay at Four Points as well. Wir liebten alles über unseren Aufenthalt. Zuerst mit dem warmen Willkommen, dem wunderbaren Service, den erstaunlichen Unterkünften und den unglaublichen Aussichten. Wir können nicht warten, bis wir wieder zurückkommen. Wenn Sie Ihre Batterien aufladen müssen, empfehle ich diese Lage sehr.

Ich liebe dieses Hotel. Das Personal war immer um etwas zu reinigen und sie schienen wirklich angenehm. Und während das ganze Ort eine frische Mantelfarbe benutzen konnte, war alles sauber und riecht sauber. Wir waren dort für eine Hochzeitsveranstaltung und die meisten der Party blieb im Sheraton Hotel. Wir wählen Quality Inn, weil ich einfach nicht die Idee, so viel Geld zu zahlen, wie Sheraton wollte. Aber weil die meisten Parteien da waren, verbrachten wir die meisten unserer Zeit auf der Sheraton. Hier sind einige Unterschiede: S=$$$ Q=$$. S=Nicht sauber (die Kuchen im Speisesaal und die Teppiche waren HORIBLE Q=Sehr sauber, S=Staff war ok, aber keine Lächeln Q=Unterkunft (ein Mitglied sah sogar, dass ich eine harte Zeit hatte, um einen Bogen für mein Geschenk zu machen und sie Sie hatten das Draht und alles, was sie in einem Blumengeschäft arbeitete) und sie lachten alle. S=Kein Frühstück-nicht einmal kostenlos Kaffee auf den Tischen und/oder Lobby Q=FREE (wunderbar) kontinental Frühstück.

Ich kam zum Weihnachtstag und Weihnachtstag. Sehr sauberes Zimmer und es gibt kostenlose Kaffee und Tee ganzen Tag im Lobby. Auch gibt es Fitnessraum und Waschraum auch. Ich liebe den Pool dort, obwohl es in den letzten zwei Tagen ziemlich kalt war. Ich liebe das Frühstück auch. Schließlich war es am Petaluma Outlet geschlossen und es war schön heute Morgen zu gehen shoppen.

Sehr gut, der Ladenbetreiber ist sehr enthusiastisch, das Zimmer ist sehr sauber, das Frühstück ist einfach, aber es gibt verschiedene Zimmer in Trip.com, die im Restaurant liegen. Die Morgenstunde ist leicht. Es ist wichtig, dass Sie die Lage des Zimmers im Voraus bestätigen können.

I had a terrible time sleeping in the suite I reserved and called Vida who said to come see her to choose another room. After listening to my story, Vida showed me what was available, she provided me a fantastic and spacious suite with NO traffic noise and gorgeous views of the mountains. It was as if I went to another country! And she provided me hotel service to bring my luggage to my new suite. I look forward to visiting Marin Suites Hotel. it is a great find for the price and the service! thank you

Wir reservierten im August zwei Zimmer für zwei Nächte, wofür insgesamt $1300 zahlen. Unser Jugendzimmer war gut. Unser Zimmer hatte jedoch einen gebrochenen Klimaanlage. Warm und müde, als wir ankamen, lassen wir die Geschäftsleitung wissen, dass unser A/C nicht funktioniert. Es war zu spät, um die Wartungskräfte zu kommen, so der sehr schöne Nacht-Clerk brachte uns ein paar Fans und versprach uns ein Zimmerkredit. Sie waren klein, und machten nicht viel gut. Wir waren so heiß und unkomfortabel, wir schliefen nicht gut. Am nächsten Morgen wurde uns gesagt, dass die Wartung vorbei sein würde, und wir gingen auf unseren Weg für den Tag. Als wir zurückkamen, unsere A/C noch nicht funktionierte, und wir erhielten keine Aktualisierungen. Wir mussten mit unseren Fenstern wieder auf dem Hof schlafen und das Hotel hatte offensichtlich eine Art frühmorgensbegegnung im Hof gebucht, so dass wir um 7:30 Uhr wach waren. Nochmal, wirklich verrückte Nacht Schlaf. Kein wahrer Manager war jemals verpflichtet, mit uns zu sprechen oder zumindest niemand, der mit uns umgehen wollte, ich denke. Ich wurde ein Telefon # für die GM gegeben. Sie (Shannon Kremer) eine Nachricht hinterlassen. Sie antwortete nicht. Wieder angerufen und sie antwortete mit einer sehr guten E-Mail zwei Tage nach unserem Zuhause nach Texas, und fragte, wie sie helfen könnte. Ich erzählte ihr von unserer Erfahrung und fragte uns, uns für unseren unerfreulichen Aufenthalt fair zu kompensieren. Keine Antwort. Ich habe sie noch einmal, keine Antwort. Ich habe sie noch einmal, um ihre Kontaktnummer gebeten, keine Antwort. Kein Zimmerkredit erschienen. Also ....basiert auf der GM, die derzeit dort vorhanden ist, empfehle ich diesen Ort nicht. Sie wollen nicht über Probleme hören. Ich habe versucht, die Hotel-Muttergesellschaft, Ascend Hotel Collection, zu rufen und es war eindeutig eine Dritte-Site, und sie waren nur clueless. Ich werde es weiter versuchen.

A last-minute getaway as the friends we had planned to stay with came down with Covid and we had to make a decision about where to stay. We are Marriott Bonvoy members and rarely ever stay at Sheratons, but thought we'd give this a go. Sigh. Not quite up to Marriott standards I'm afraid.... We got a king suite with a balcony that was supposed to be a marina view, but looked out over the adjacent ”marsh” and freeway/railroad track. Here's the good: very comfortable bed, bathtub (most hotels are ripping these out and replacing with walk-in showers - I love a real tub), short drive to downtown Petaluma which is cute with upcoming restaurants, coffee houses and quirky shops, staff friendly; the location is easy access off 101 and good for a base to explore Sonoma County. The not-so-good: the hotel lobby is freezing cold so not a place we could hang out, the fire was never lit the whole weekend; it's so cold that the staff behind the check-in desk had their own space heaters on the counter blasting hot air at themselves to stay warm! The pool is tiny, the photos of this place make it look more like a resort, but it's really a hotel bolted on to the end of a mall/offices as part of the marina development. You can't walk into downtown - it's a hike along very busy roads with industrial office buildings. The new train line (yay - public transport!) is just across the river adjacent to the freeway and is noisy as you'd expect. We walked into the marsh and around the nature loop - it was OK...nothing special, really - didn't see much in the way of birdlife. I imagine it gets stinky in the summer! In general, the hotel could do with a solid refurb - it feels dated. I think we would have actually been better off at the Courtyard TBH.
