Banana Beach

A lovely bright apartment with plenty of storage and space to spread out during our stay. The views of the sea and mountains from the balcony were lovely. Location wise, the apartment was in a quiet residential area of Marbella with a handful of amenities in walking distance. The walk into Marbella centre was mostly flat and took us around 25 minutes start to finish. The apartment is perfectly positioned if you’re a fan of a good beach. Cable Beach is a stones- throw from the accommodation and was a clean golden beach popular with the locals - always a good sign I seem to think! There is a small selection of bars and eateries along the beach, our favourite being Dolce Vita that served the most amazing pizzas! The mattresses could probably do with an update and I would like to see spare towels available for guests to use during the stay. The apartment is not serviced and therefore the towels are not changed throughout the stay. Perhaps I am being picky, as there is a washing machine and detergent available in the kitchen area for guests to use. We were very grateful to be given a late check-out time of 6pm without extra charge due to our late evening flight. However, when checking out, the host simply said ‘keys’ and turned around to walk away. It would’ve been nice to have been asked about our stay and experience in Banana Beach. Overall, Banana Beach was clean and tidy, with spacious bedrooms and in a safe, quiet neighbourhood. I would definitely recommend this accommodation if you’re looking for a good base whilst in Marbella and are not overly bothered about being away from the main attractions.

Appartamento sporco. Indumenti di altri ospiti sotto il divano letto. Teglia del forno sporchissima e unta. Mattonelle rotte in cucina: abbiamo avvertito la referente che ha fatto finta di niente e la sera successiva una mattonella si è staccata dal muro ed è caduta sul piede di mia moglie. L'appartamento si trova ad oltre 1 km dal centro di Marbella, in mezzo a diverse concessionarie di auto. Piscina non utilizzabile. È vero che c'è una spiaggia subito sotto il condominio ma la zona non è proprio il massimo. Sconsigliato!!! PS: per il disagio ci hanno proposto uno sconto pari a due notti su 5 ma poi ci hanno liquidato con 50 euro.
