The staff at this beautiful property are amazing. They go out of their way to make the guests feel welcome and special. The rooms are well decorated and maintained. The food was excellent. The spa is top notch. This was an extremely relaxing trip thanks in large part to the staff.

My two childhood best friends and I had the most memorable hotel experience ever at the Ritz Carlton Dove Mountain the weekend of 7/11/24 to 7/15/24. From the moment we arrived on the property we were welcomed by the kindest individuals and we were blown away at the continued authenticity, attention to details, service, and kindness from EVERY staff member we came into contact with. I would like to name several of the staff that made a lasting impression on us during our stay. I have already told many family members and friends about our experience at your hotel and encouraged them to put it on their lists. Let me start off by saying my children had an unpleasant experience with some bullying/racial comments/pushing from some other kids (no fault of the Hotel). Madison who was a life guard saw this and stopped it immediately. She informed us what happened and we can't thank her enough for her standing up for our boys(6 & 7). The next life guard was also informed who apologized when my boys and I came up on the slide. Chris M is the banquet manager who heard about this and went above and beyond like I have never seen in my life. He spoke to the other children's family, took care of us and really ensured my boys were good. It did not stop there. Chris must have informed other staff of our experience and the attention and support they have ALL provided is unmeasurable. Not just at the time of the incident, but our entire stay. Holly and Anissa at the front desk also followed up with us and went above and beyond. Holly treated us like we were family even upon check out made sure we were good. Every single staff member took pride in taking care of customers. This service was the best we have ever had and it was unbelievable! High five to Alex, Aaron, Erin, and Charles as well who took service to another level. If you have an opportunity to stay at this location, you will not be disappointed and worth every single cent. The attention they give to customers is 2nd to none!! We will 100% be back and again, probably the best hospitality experience we have ever had and we travel a lot.

Uh… not sure where the 5 stars came from??Mediocre st best. Dining at pool closes at 6pm when the heat lasts FAR later than that. For the price, pool should have sauna, steam, but only has a 4 ft deep pool? Definitely not very five star. The food is pretty good but def not great. Staff nice, helpful. Property out in the middle of nowhere so only real dining options are at the restaurants on property. I’ve stayed many places worthy of five stars. As someone who deeply loves travel, this resort was a “meh” for me.

Wow, just wow. I’m simply blown away by this resort. 1) Service is not just good but is world class good. In our 48 hours at the resort, we did not have one instance where the service wasn’t 10/10. 2) The hotel is beautiful . It is so much bigger than you think on first glance, the more I walked around, the more cool stuff I found. 3) Dining was excellent. Although Core was closed for our stay, the food we did have was al excellent. One of the best hotel experiences of my life.

We have stayed at this hotel several times since it opened about 15 years ago. They have kept the hotel looking good with updated furniture and rooms that are well maintained. The CORE upscale dinner restaurant is closed Sunday and Monday nights. How can you be a Ritz Carlton and have your top restaurant closed on two days? That leaves you to have dinner at IGNITE which is a glorified Denny's (No offense to Denny's which I like) where a hamburger costs $28 and a bottle of Bud beer is $9. $60 for the resort fee is excessive. I would already have free wifi by being a Marriott Reward member and the outside activities that are included are not what I would choose to do when the temp is 105-110 degrees. I believe that the valet charge ($39/night) used to be included in the report fee in the past. The rooms are expensive, even in the summer, and the resort fee should be completely eliminated. The spa was excellent but very expensive.

This was the first time staying at this property and we tried to access everything it had to offer. From meeting Holly upon our arrival, Christian at the pool, and Rodney, the sommelier in the restaurant, everyone was attentive and helpful. While some parts of the hotel I felt was “tired” and needed some upgrades, it was overall a good experience. The highlight was the Spa. Cher, the manager, was accommodating and professional. Her, and the spa staff, went out of her way to make the stay enjoyable. The spa is on point and a “must do” if you are staying on this property. My only complaint and advice would be to self park your car. While there is no signage, if you self park you only pay $10 a day, but if you valet, which one would think is the only option, it costs $38 a day. So, self park!
