Opting for the AJ Grand Hotel based on stellar reviews turned out to be a serendipitous decision. Situated in the heart of the city, the hotel provided convenient access to shopping, restaurants, and modern malls, all within a leisurely 30-minute walk. The reception staff's courtesy set a welcoming tone, ensuring a seamless check-in process. Our suite, impeccably clean with enhanced facilities, greeted us with an unexpected perk—an empty refrigerator, a thoughtful touch for personalising our stay with beverages and snacks. The hotel's two highly acclaimed restaurants surpassed expectations, offering a diverse array of delectable choices during main meal times. This meant that we rarely felt the need to explore dining options outside. Kudos to the entire restaurant staff, with a special mention for Ganesh, whose culinary insights enriched our menu selections, and Suresh, whose attentive service at breakfast was welcome. While the gym and swimming pool were compact, they proved functional and, more often than not, were a private sanctuary for our use. The potential future de***d for these facilities notwithstanding, our experience was one of undisturbed enjoyment. The reception staff, although not all adorned with name badges, stood out for their exceptional assistance. Their guidance in locating our boarding passes and travel documents for our onward journey was invaluable. We were particularly grateful for their considerate offer to extend our checkout time, seamlessly aligning with our travel arrangements—small gestures that made a significant difference. Having little prior knowledge of ***galore, we were pleasantly surprised by the city and its welcoming residents. Exploring the beach and other recommended sites, discovered through various YouTube videos, unveiled ***galore's potential as a future tourist attraction, perhaps even rivalling Goa in the future. However, we hope that the city ***ages to preserve its charm without succumbing to the challenges often associated with increased tourism. I had the pleasure of visiting Mangalore on the 17th of October 2023, where I was greeted with a warm welcome despite my late arrival at night after a 12-hours long journey. One of the first things that captured my attention was a stunning wall-to-wall mural behind the front office desk. This remarkable artwork vividly depicted the cultural heritage of Karnataka, featuring Kola performances, Kambala races, and other local traditions that have gained recent pan-India popularity thanks to the movie ”Kantara.” It served as a captivating introduction to the exciting experiences that awaited me during my stay. Let's talk about the accommodation. The rooms were tastefully appointed and impeccably clean. I particularly appreciated the Skylight Suites, which, while lacking a balcony, featured a beautifully decorated and spacious sitting area with a skylight adjacent to the main room. This clever design made the room feel more expansive. However, it's worth mentioning that the washrooms could benefit from better ventilation. In terms of dining, the food was satisfactory, but I would suggest diversifying the menu to include more vegetarian options to cater to a wider range of preferences. Now, let me highlight the standout feature of my stay – the in-house transportation services provided by the hotel. They operated with exceptional efficiency, boasting well-maintained and spotlessly clean vehicles. The chauffeurs were not only punctual but also displayed the utmost professionalism. I must give a special commendation to Mr. Balraj, who not only ensured our smooth transport to the temples we had planned to visit but also offered valuable insights into darshan durations. His willingness to take us to additional temples during our journeys, such as the Mariamman Temple in Mangalore, Rajarajeshwari Temple in Polali, Bappanadu Parameshwari Temple in Mulki, and Uchchila Maha Lakshmi on the way to Udupi (and possibly more that I can't recall at the moment) was truly exceptional. His knowledge of cultural immersion opportunities, especially during Navratris, was remarkable, and he even introduced us to experiences like the Yakshagana performance at Kadri Manjunatheswar. As my trip had a strong focus on pilgrimage, his insights into these sacred places were invaluable. His careful and considerate approach as a driver was exemplary. Not once did he engage in rash driving, even in the challenging and treacherous forested, mountainous routes that we encountered. Furthermore, Mr. Balraj's helpful nature shone brightly throughout our journey. With my elderly parents accompanying me, his assistance was greatly appreciated. He went above and beyond to ensure their comfort and well-being, offering his support at every turn. His unwavering dedication to both our safety and enjoyment of the trip made him an indispensable part of our experience. Mr. Balraj truly embodies the spirit of excellence in service. Wir hatten einen hervorragenden Aufenthalt für eine Woche in diesem Hotel. Das ganze Team einschließlich des Managers Mr. Cletus, Vijay, Akshata, Sudeksha, Rajesh & das Hausbetreuungspersonal waren freundlich, hilfsbereit und schnell in ihren Diensten den ganzen Tag. Das Hotel war gut gepflegt und sauber. Das Frühstück war gut, mit verschiedenen Artikeln täglich serviert. Das Hotel ist zentral mit guten Restaurants und Supermärkten in der Nähe. Zomato & Swiggy liefert auch das Hotel. Wir würden dieses Hotel definitiv empfehlen und wir würden auch während unseres nächsten Besuchs hier bleiben.

Sie haben mit meiner Familie einen Tag geblieben und sie gab mir eine kostenlose Upgrade zum Zimmer mit Meerblick. Freundliches Personal, und sie haben einen sauberen Schwimmbad, in dem wir einen tollen Abend genossen. Sie haben auch genügend Parkplatz. Lebensmittelgeschmack muss verbessert werden.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and genuine care. The hospitality was truly outstanding. The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, ensuring a restful stay. We especially enjoyed the soothing music played in the veranda, which kept us in a good mood and added to the relaxing atmosphere. The buffet breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety of options. During our stay, my son experienced travel sickness, and the staff went above and beyond to take care of us. They connected us with a doctor and even prepared special food for my son, ensuring his comfort. Their tagline, ”Welcome to Hospitality,” perfectly describes the experience my family and I had. We felt truly cared for and appreciated throughout our stay.

Newly renovated, well furnished premium category hotel with reasonable pricing. Nice view from the hotel (highway view). Staffs are very cooperative and gentle. peaceful ambience. recommended for couples too.

I came to ginger manglore with my friends and staff was very helpful mainly Mr Abhisek from front office he was very kind attend me very quickly and the housekeeping Hassan was also very fast to give request requirement and security team mr Rahul was also very helpful to bring luggage I was very happy with ginger the way they given services

Amazing hotel with amazing staff!! Lot of small things add up to the best imaginable hotel stay. Every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed staying here friendly staff, clean rooms. The staff were helpful from the time I check in and check out. I would like to thank the staff Mr. Uday shetty whose hospitality was at its best! I would recommend everyone to visit!!

Excellent property away from all the noise. It offers the best to family to friends who are on a weekend getaway. Nice resorts amidst the greenery of your choice. Neat wooden deluxe amenities, a nice fit to your pocket. Young and Children-friendly, you can find all that play and fun. Good food and service, with professional staff. Except this property is a bit far from the beaches of Mangalore.
