A great location close to Manchester Victoria station loads of bars and clubs and niche shopping. Was here for a music gig the other side of the city but Uber there and back was very easy. The hotel staff were all incredibly friendly and fun and the morning breakfast was extensive and a good selection of most things. It’s a clean and surprisingly quiet hotel as it’s right on a very busy main road. It’s a budget hotel so not too many frills no fridge or iron but everything worked really well good bed and good shower and for me that’s the main selling factor of a hotel room.

The hotel was clean, tidy, with simple amenities. The only criticisms are that due to the location of the hotel it is noisy as it is located right next to a main road. Also, the rooms can get very warm as there is no air conditioning.

I’ve booked a room with a bathtub, and the staff designated a room without it. I can accept they could make a mistake, but the staff didn’t apologize for his mistake when I asked for a room change.

Just ok, hotel with good connection but, I did not like that the internet is a separate service

Wer sich seinen Aufenthalt in Manchester ordentlich verderben möchte, dem sei dieses schäbige Hotel empfohlen. Zimmer sind klein, schmuddelig und abgewohnt wie das ganze Haus. Es gab nur einen Fahrstuhl, der andere war die ganze Zeit während unseres Aufenthalts defekt. Die Toilettenspülung funktionierte nicht richtig. Auf dem Zimmer gab es noch nicht mal einen Föhn! Steckdosen an den Betten gibt es nicht. Das Bad roch sehr muffig, die Fenster ließen sich nicht öffnen. Dieser schlechte Eindruck setzte sich beim Frühstück fort, das noch nicht mal seine 10 Pfund wert ist. – Schlechtes Angebot, schlechter Kaffee, eine Atmosphäre wie in der Wartehalle. Für mich ist nun klar: NIE wieder Travelodge!

Super helpful staff! We were completely new to Manchester and the surrounding areas, but the staff working, Alex and Tom, solved our party’s issues with ease. Thanks again, Alex & Tom. We are all really looking forward to coming back some time in the near future.

Comfy beds tele works amazing with fire stick/ps5 so you can just have a home away from home I recommend Smoke and Pepper or Kabana for food while in the northern quarter both exquisite. On another note the staff!! Danka what a beautiful kind lady she is true gem looked after me from start to finish I might even marry her one day! Young gentlemen with the dreads not so pleasant, I’d get rid of him as his attitude is way off and rude. I’d stay here again just for Danka. Thankyou for my lovely stay and I hope to see you guys soon

I booked the Ancoats Travelodge for my band when we played the English Folk Expo last weekend. The rooms were as you'd expect from a Travelodge - clean, comfortable and basic. But what was really impressive was the care given by the staff. One of my band members was unable to join us so I had an extra room available which I wanted to give to another band member who was sharing a twin. Although they were very busy and understaffed, Daniela the hotel manager was incredibly kind and accommodating and Stacey the head of the cleaning staff went out of her way to prepare the room for us. Huge gratitude to the team at this Travelodge, who supported us to save money and make the trip more comfortable for our musicians. Thank you!!

The hotel team were all helpful and the room was comfortable and clean, but the vegan sausages at breakfast had wheat in them so I could only have hash browns, tomato and beans. A real shame.

I stayed a single night. I have stayed at various Travelodges. This was ok but a bit less than average of my experiences with them. Check in was quick and easy, as usual. The room was clean and tidy and everything that I usually find was in place. I think this was one of the older hotels. It was a bit cold, even though it was mild for March. The heater kept resetting to a low level. The other thing I didn't like was the shower, which had rather poor water pressure. There were a lot of sirens, but thankfully, they eased off during the night.

Noisiest stay I’ve ever had in a hotel due to groups of ‘guests’ who seem to be living at the hotel and have no concept of regard for other hotel users. The noise from them all night was horrendous, strange smell of food coming from their rooms and standing outside smoking ***** day and night.

Check in experience was great and Tom looked after all the guests really well! The room and hotel are great. Recommended Its a great location, surrounded by plenty of good coffee shops and places to eat (independent places, away from the chains)

Comfortable stay in great location near bustling Northern Quarter. Breakfast worth the extra few pounds - vegetarians well catered for. Prices can vary but you can usually get a reasonable rate if staying midweek. Alex at reception very helpful.
