There is a peace that lies within not to be found elsewhere! I will always return to celebrate and renew the feeling of serenity . Next year will mark 25 years of visiting the Inn and the anticipation never diminishes! The Inn at Ormsby Hill : my definition of Perfection.

Another lovely stay at Ormsby Hill! This was our second visit and we enjoyed it as much as our first. Jack was kind and welcoming, and the inn was beautiful, cozy, and well-maintained. The interior is warmly lit, perfect for nights in reading or playing games, and the outdoor area is perfect for enjoying a morning coffee while admiring the idyllic landscape and mountains, watching the bees buzz around the wildflowers, and listening to the birds chirping. Conveniently located near Manchester center and Dorset, the inn is also perfectly situated and is close to many activities. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Wonderful little gem in Manchester! It’s super convenient to The Hildene where we attended a wedding. The rooms are beautiful with a nice fireplace and the grounds are very pretty. There was lots we couldn’t take advantage of including a yummy full breakfast but we will be back!

This is our favorite place to stay in Manchester. The Inn is quaint, immaculately clean and the staff who takes cake of the rooms do a great job. Mary Ann and Jack, the innkeepers are friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay a wonderful experience. The home cooked breakfast served each morning is excellent. A great BNB in Manchester, served an amazing breakfast and the inn keekpers were lovely. Great patio to sit and see the amazing landscape and enjoy a glass of wine. The inn is very close to town. Our room was very comfortable and highly recommend a visit. V

This was our third stay at this historic and tranquil inn. Before leaving, we made reservations for next year's visit, and that is not something you do unless a place is very special. The inn sits on very large grounds with views of the mountains towering above. The old trees and flowers and plantings of many kinds are covering the property, making it a beautiful and peaceful setting. Our room opened onto a wooden deck with chairs and a small table where we could sit and enjoy the scenery while enjoying drinks---a place you can sit, be meditative or just "be." Inn keepers Jack and MaryAnn have done an amazing job of making this old house into an inn that is cozy and welcoming, but also remains elegant. They are very friendly and welcoming! Staff member Candy creates great breakfasts, keeps the inn immaculately clean, and leaves freshly baked cookies in the rooms when she is done cleaning them. In addition to all of this, the inn is located where you can make day trips to explore much of Vermont. It doesn't get much better!

What a beautiful place to stay. Jack and Mary Ellen were fantastic hosts and the breakfasts were delicious. It is a lovely part of the world and Mary Ellen suggested several things for us to visit. The Inn itself is lovely, very comfortable beds, beautiful gardens and well placed for all of the attractions in Manchester. Would happily return here.

They were the most welcoming and friendly people. My sisters and I loved staying at The Inn at Ormsby Hill. We've already talked of going again. The property was beautiful and so peaceful. The rooms were immaculate and so clean and tidy. We would highly recommend staying here!

Very nice rooms, well appointed. Location was lovely, convenient to Hildene and Manchester center. Hosts were very amiable and having discount tickets to Hildene was perfect for us. Would highly recommend this location for couples looking for a quiet place.
