Wir erwarteten ein Hotelerlebnis, das den guten Kritiken und der Empfehlung der örtlichen Agentur entsprach, fanden jedoch etwas völlig anderes und Enttäuschendes vor. Dieser Ort bietet nicht wirklich einen Hotelservice. Die Sauberkeit und Instandhaltung der Zimmer ist in Ordnung, aber es fehlt die Liebe zum Detail, die man von einer gut bewerteten Unterkunft erwarten würde. Im Grunde handelt es sich eher um eine Selbstversorgerunterkunft als um ein richtiges Hotel. Die vielen positiven Bewertungen haben uns überrascht, denn unsere Erfahrungen waren alles andere als zufriedenstellend. Am rätselhaftesten ist, dass das Hotel so hohe Bewertungen erhalten kann, obwohl es offensichtlich kein Hotelerlebnis als solches bietet. Das Lokal hat nichts Charmantes an sich und auch der Service lässt einiges zu wünschen übrig, zumal man, da kaum Personal da ist, auf Wunsch des Besitzers frühstücken muss. Es gibt keine Hängematten außer zwei Liegen neben dem Pool... Das Frühstück am Strand ist lächerlich... Schließlich konnten wir dank der Agentur in das benachbarte Hotel Balay sa Baibai umziehen, wo wir viel besser betreut wurden und der Service unseren Erwartungen entsprach. Ich kann dieses Hotel definitiv nicht empfehlen und für den Preis hat man ein Hotel nebenan mit viel Charme und 10/10-Service.

Es wurde uns vom BNT-Reisebüro als fantastisches Hotel empfohlen und es ist eine riesige Enttäuschung. Es kann nicht als Hotel bezeichnet werden, da es keinen Kundenservice bietet. Sie müssen sogar zu der vom Eigentümer gewünschten Zeit frühstücken. Dies ist kein richtiges Hotel, es ist nur ein Zimmer ohne besondere Dinge.

A gem on Camiguin. We stayed here with our 4 year old, 6 year old and their Grandparents and it was such a delight. The kids enjoyed playing with the dogs and chasing the chickensn and we felt like we treated like we were their most important customes. Thanks to Andrew for setting up the scuba dive in Mantigue and driving us around select spots on the island. Breakfast was included and Jerome even made yogurt for us, which was absolutely satisfying. Look no further, book now!

Amazing resort at Camiguin island, Jerome is super host. Beautiful resort with beautiful people/staff. They take care every single bits of your daily needs. The rooms are big and beautifully designed, love it to every bit details they put. You dont need to buy water since they put the water dispenser at the room, coffee, tea at your choice for free. Super super love with their services. We got 2 rooms since we are 6 in the family, we are dog lovers, so this an adding points for us. Jerome told us the story how he rescued the dogs, amazing guy with a golden heart. Btw you can eat breakfast at anytime, they will prepare it once you are ready for it, unlike in other resorts, they have the limited time. This is an adding points if you are late riser. In our case, we need to go early since we have the sea activities, so we requested them to prepare it early and no huss at all. What I love the most was, the privacy, only 3 villas, so if you need to unwind and just relax with your family and loved ones, this is the best place to be. Looking forward for our next visit here. Camiguin is a wonderful beautiful island with so much to explore, and Somewhere Else Resort is the ideal base to discover all the island has to offer. What a wonderful resort. The villas are architecturally interesting, artfully designed and full of thoughtful amenities. Every comfort is offered, everything you need is there before you even realise you need it. The owner and staff are exceptional. Giving you all the help you need, from planning your site seeing, to driving you to and from your choice of restaurant for dinner to preparing your breakfast at your chosen time in your own private space But also providing you with complete privacy. You always feel like you have this magical paradise to yourself. And as beautiful as it is, it is also not at all pretentious. Everyone is down to earth and friendly, and happy to have a chat (I am sure we talked Jerome and Andrews ears off!) :) Andrew one of the team at the resort provides a driving service if you are not confident driving yourself or just don't want to worry about it. Andrew is one of the nicest guys you will meet, and makes the whole day out fun and enjoyable, always smiling and friends with everyone on the island, he will take you to some great places you might not find on your own, mind your stuff while you snorkle, help you out when needed and is an absolute asset to this place. Then there are the sweetest dogs who live there, that I fell in love with. Plus a lovely pool, a clean beach, flowers every where. Staying at somewhere else you have this great luxury experience staying in a great villa but also feels like home, and feels like you are staying with friends. The property is on the beach and the accommodation is unique and interesting, well-built, spacious, a good value, and comfortable with a fantastic outdoor space. The owner, Jerome, is very thoughtful, accommodating, and fun and his staff are wonderful. We were impressed with everything he did to may our stay enjoyable from arranging scooters, providing beer/rum/wine, transfers to the ferry and airport and even picking us up and dropping us off for dinner. Fantastic breakfast too!
