The hotel has a convenient location, and the staff were polite—but that's where the positives end. The rooms are unbearably stuffy, with no way to get fresh air. The air conditioning is locked at 24°C, and though you can adjust it down to 19°C, it inexplicably resets itself. How can a hotel room offer no way to cool down properly? The bathroom was equally frustrating. The bath was far too small for anyone of taller stature, and the fixed shower meant I couldn’t properly wash the areas that needed attention. Unlike other Premier Inns that provide food options, this hotel had nothing—not even basic snacks. The only available dining choice was a ridiculously overpriced burger restaurant downstairs, where the cheapest option was £18! The bed creaked loudly with every movement, making sleep almost impossible. The so-called smart TV had none of the expected streaming features, meaning services like BBC iPlayer were completely unavailable. And despite booking a double room, it bizarrely only had one chair, making the space feel ill-equipped for two guests.
