Sunny Makarska by Valamar

The staff is kind, the hotel clean, the food delicious. There are many facilities for childrens entertainment. Great location. The beach is long so you can choose between sun or shadow. Definitely coming back. Who doesn't like the crowd in July, should come in May, June or September.

We were very pleased with our stay here at Makarska Sunny Resort. I must say that I had a really nice time with my family. Wa stayed here for 5 nights (6 days) and we enjoyed it very much. Rooms are very clean, with a nice view. Every morning we would wake up with such a beautiful view. And I must mention the squirrels on the trees - adorable. We booked a Superior room 2+2 with options of buffet breakfast/brunch and dinner. We liked the food there, especially fish and pizzas. It would be better to have a juice and water machine because of the kids, but you can buy drinks so it's not a problem. Our room was always very clean I must say. And the cleaning ladies would say hi to us and chat every morning. Our children (7 and 9) had so much fun playing in gameroom and the softplay area (open 10-22h). The guys and a lady who work there were so nice and friendly to our kids, they played UNO together. Big thanks to all the staff who made our vacation a memorable one! I'm sure we will be back!

Great food, very good for families with small kids, rooms are good enough. The resort offers many activities, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The beach nearest to the resort is crowdy but otherwise great. The parking was always free so that is a plus aswell.

Excellent price-quality ratio. Beautiful nature, close to the beach, lots of activities for children. The food is delicious, and the staff in the restaurant and bar are extremely friendly. The only complaint is the lack of drinks at dinner.

The hotel is excellent for families with children. a lot of content for children. The only complaint is the buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner because they prefer dishes with pork, so guests who do not consume pork do not have enough choices. And there are a lot of such guests in the hotel.

It is really nice place. It has been renovated and now it is even better. It is on perfect distance from sea. It has a lot family activities. Food is deligious and people are great. Our son was specially enjoying in play zone, game lounge and trampolines. It is great concept for children to hace fun and parents to enjoy having a drink in peace. We are really satisfied and we reccommend it.
