Chateau de Vauchelles

What a stunning place, cannot recommend staying here enough. An absolutely wonderful stay at the Chateau, perfect for utter rest and relaxation. The Chateau is beautiful, and the rooms have everything you need, and are beautifully decorated. The hosts could not be more friendly or helpful, we arrived early, and even though the room was not ready, we were able to be on site and use the facilities. They shared information about the Chateau and it's history. The pool is gorgeous, and we enjoyed some afternoons just being by the pool and enjoying a picnic lunch in the grounds. We had planned to go out on day trips, but these changed to mornng trips as the weatehr was so beautiful, and we wanted to take advantage of the amazing setting of the Chateau. The hosts were able to provide diner on our first night, but this must be arranged prior to arrival. Good breakfast with the offer of local fresh eggs and home made jams, and all the delicious things you would expect from a French breakfast. We stayed for three nights, and we cannot wait to return. It's good to be aware that you will need to travel around 20 mins to the nearest town for dinner/restaurants, but this is a great exchange for the beautiful rural location of the chateau.

An affordable accommodation when you are passing French Countryside with an authentic quiet atmosphere in a charmingly decorated chateau. A very nice Hostess. A romantic garden with a pool was an extra bonus. Merci beaucoup pour ce séjour incroyable

A magnificent setting just like stepping back in time. So very peaceful and the rooms were beautiful. The bathroom was very clean and the breakfasts very French and yummy. The swimming pool was clean and warm. We only stayed a very short time 2 nights, but it was so very relaxing and charming. The owners were really lovely and so indulgent of us we can only thank them for giving us a very wonderful experience.

Endroit merveilleux et un accueil des plus chaleureux. Le lieux est magnifique en toutes saisons. Les chambres sont toutes différentes, décorées avec soin. Les petits dejeuner dans les salons d'époques !

Nous avons passé un weekend au château de Vauchelles avec un groupe d'amis pendant la coupe du monde de rugby. Nous avons été reçus comme des rois par les propriétaires! Nous avons eu une chambre somptueuse offrant de belles perspectives sur le jardin à la française et le domaine environnant. Lit confortable, chambre joliment décorée dans un style ancien avec une salle de bain ultra moderne! Nous avons pu profiter de la piscine chauffée (une chance pour un mois d'octobre!) et nous avons même fait un saut à la braderie d'Amiens et sa magnifique cathédrale. Bref, un weekend à refaire!
