i booked a Standard Room (B2) via trip.com and thought the location - as per the map - was a 10mins walk from Mae Kampong Village. lugged myself + heavy backpack up hills to find out when i reached that the homestay was located at the village itself (great location, walking distance to all the shops but wish i knew earlier!)
apart from that, had an absolutely lovely stay. the young staff spoke english and was really helpful and nice. room is nice and clean. snacks + drinks are available for purchase in the room but tip: bring your own mama noodles for mookata! they sell one set for 350 baht which i enjoyed eating outside at the balcony
staff also asked if i would like to join the sunrise at Kew Fin + Mae Kampong Waterfall for 100baht/person; pick up at 5.30am. glad i went! it was beautiful. it gets chilly on top so you can also take the white “bed runner” in the room as a scarf
breakfast is included and is at a separate restaurant, just a couple minutes walk from the accom, located at the cafe At-Mae-Kampong. it was a buffet spread with healthy options. absolutely loved the congee! it’s so good, must try
overall had a very pleasant experience. definitely recommend! homestay location is great and value for money. good for a 2d1n trip. i booked shared transport via klook from chiang mai

HHXIStaying at the duplex here is super chill.
The house is clean, a lot of space and bathroom is very convenient since they do wet and dry bathroom in the duplex.
Parking is free at the parking they provided.
The stream in front of the house is full of flow energy which that flowing sound makes my mind stay so calm.
Worth the money and worth the driving.

”We recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at Nelamit. The room with its stunning view was a highlight, and the warm temperature provided by the heater was much appreciated. The receptionist was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay.
While we thoroughly enjoyed our time, we did notice some minor areas for improvement. The dome could benefit from a deeper clean to address some minor fungal growth. Additionally, we believe the room rate should include complimentary soap for the bathtub, which would enhance the overall guest experience.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the owner for maintaining such a lovely property and for the dedication of their staff, particularly during both peak and off-season periods. We hope these suggestions will be considered for future guests.”

Persönlich schläft das Bett in dem Hauswagen 3 Personen, Eltern und Kinder (2 Jahre alt) kann komfortabel schlafen. Aber der Heizgerät auf dem Bett, wenn offen, lassen Sie es auf Es ist sehr heiß. Muss aufwachen und schließen Das Wetter ist sehr kalt, im Heißräder außerhalb des Hauses. Wie ein Arsch in der Mitte eines kalten Tals, haha, sehr romantisch, gibt es einen echten Wasserfall im Bereich des Hauses. Der Klang des Wasserfalls macht das Gefühl sehr gut, friedlich, privat, grillig, Lebensmittel schmeckt sehr gut. Jeder ist wunderschön, der Service ist sehr beeindruckend. Wird sicher mit Freunden zurückkommen, ich mag es sehr.
Wir sind zweimal zum Dorf Om Kampong gewesen. Ankommen, um während 4-6 am Abend zu prüfen und zu gehen, ist es eine andere Möglichkeit. Erwachen Sie früh bei 7-10 o'clock und bekommen Sie eine andere Atmosphäre. Es ist sehr nah.

Das Zimmer ist unglaublich sauber und das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Aber bereitet euch für viele Regen, wenn Sie im August besuchen planen - es regnet jeden Tag, jeden Tag. Außerdem ist das Hotel hoch in den Bergen, was für einen erstaunlichen Blick, aber kann ein wenig von einem Zug zu bekommen. Insgesamt, wenn Sie auf der Suche nach einem luxuriösen und unvergesslichen Aufenthalt, dieses Hotel ist definitiv bedenklich wert.

TTripaddictWith the help of the host from this glamping site, we rented a sedan from them to drive us from Chiang Mai airport to this location. It was very remote, and we are happy the host has such service. We are fully aware of the location, it is also the reason we came here to rest after 7 days of Bangkok trip.
We were also very surprised the cleanliness of the site, there is not mosquitos or any other small insects around the camp site, which we were well prepared for that but we are very happy with the environment without worrying this. They must have done a lot of control to come to this state. Thank you!
Service is very good, they have golf car to drive us to the restaurant where we can have breakfast, lunch or dinner. Dinner they will offer pizza or mookata, guess everyone will order this.
We stayed at the Kissing star for 2 nights, first night we bought street food from MaeKampong for our dinner, second night we had Mookata, frankly speaking their food is not expensive too, we can hardly finish their whole set for 2 persons.
As for their facilities, I think the pictures are self explained. they have marshall soundbar, enabled Netflix, youtube etc, so that one can really rest in the room, listening to the nature and watching tv.
Their host can be communicated via whatsapp too, so just tell them anything you need, they will try to help. I love their hospitality even in such remote area but still trying to offer us the best!!!
