Top Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Plaza Mayor, z ahlreiche Cafés, Restaurants und Bars in der Nähe, gute Anbindung an die Metro.
Sehr freundliches Personal, saubere und gut klimatisierte Unterkunft. Das Bett hätte etwas breiter sein dürfen, vielleicht noch ein Kühlschrank, sonst aber alles bestens!

We've stayed in a few central hostals over the last 20 years. Santa Cruz is probably the best. It was friendly, clean and ideally located for a city break. 2 minutes to Plaza Mayor. 30 minute walk to Atocha railway station. Subway Metro nearby.

Very convenient. Well kept & clean, with a housekeeping, which we hadn’t expected. Within walking distance to many many attractions. We would stay there again.

A very well kept and conveniently located Hostal, centrally located to a lot of attractions, Steps away from Plaza Mayor, walking distance to La Gran Via, Puerta Del Sol , Paseo de Alcala Palacio Real, La Cathedral De La Almudena 15- 20 minutes walking distance to Museo del Prado, Botanical Gardens and Plaza de la Cibeles, I cannot say enough good things about the people running this establishment,

Great location, walkable to most central landmarks! 6 minutes to Metro station! Poor Amenities, only saw a staff when checking in! But it is okay with the price !

Location is great. Rooms are clean. Somebody checked us in but after that we did not see anyone. Had questions that we could not ask. Very small double room, decor leaves to be desired. A reviewer a while back wrote it felt like a room in a geriatric center. That was our experience too,

The hotel was very convenient, since it is a block away from plaza mayor and you can walk to many attractions. Train stations are close enough (around 6 min) and the room was good enough and clean. The bed was really confortable. You might miss a small fridge if you are there for a longer period, but for a couple days it was ok. Definetely recommend this hostal.
