My wife had a room booked at this unfortunate hotel. Due to the uncleanliness of the room, my son began breaking out in hives and reacting to pet dander. My wife went to address this issue with the staff who were very rude to her. My wife did not raise her voice. She did not curse. The manager, in turn, kicked her out of the hotel. When I became aware of the situation, I called the hotel. I assume that calls are recorded (I certainly hope so). I did not raise my voice at any time. The first time I asked that they tell me what was going on (especially as I only had my wife's version of events at this time). The manager summarily hung out on me without even responding. He did not answer a single question the second time. I called a third time hoping to at least speak with someone at the hotel. They instead told me that I was "harassing them" and told me not to call again. They did not answer a single question I asked them, despite me not raising my voice, cursing, or even making accusations. I do not consider myself anything particularly special, but I am a Gold Elite member at Marriott and would hope that would at least get someone to tell me what is happening in a stressful situation. If my wife was treated anywhere near as rudely or as arbitrarily as I was treated, then I would like to speak to someone about this situation. This is not the standard that we have come to expect from Marriott over the years.
