Just when we feel that they can’t do better than the previous Taj property we visited we are proved wrong yet again . Taj defines the word hospitality to a different level. Every staff member is super efficient and always ready to help . Alert and attentive stewards Gowtham and Nilesh , perfectionist Chef Raja , the polite check in and front desk team , the smiling buggy drivers , the prompt house keeping would all score a perfect 10. Food in all restaurants was outstanding. The Dew with its Healthy options. The Grill with its candle light dinner ambience, the traditional thali .. every meal was outstanding. The Spa is a must visit .. the Guddha authentic copper bucket hot bath and scub gives nothing less than a queen feeling . The lobby has a unique charm with it’s openness and views of the valley Rooms are nice with decent views Some suggestions only for the rooms : 1. Some more light or a lamp especially near the desk . The room was extremely dim post sunset . 2. The blinds !!! They were a task to put up and down . We had to call the staff for this each time ( they came within minutes ! ) . Curtains may have been an easier option as the blinds were also dusty in parts 3. A full length or a small mirror in the room as there is only a mirror in the bathroom 4. The hair dryer looked old and outdated 5. A steam iron would be better than the regular iron provided 6. The wood work behind the bed is beautifully carved .. but impossible to clean am sure as many edges were filled with dust All in all a wonderful hotel and a must visit Superb team work Taj .. look forward to visiting again some day

An unforgettable place to stay. Stunning views; very good service - thank you especially to Rebita for her personal attention to ensuring we arrived feeling looked after and like very special guests, even before we stepped into the extraordinary beauty and 'wow factor' of the lobby. Lovely food - and well priced for such a smart and luxurious hotel. The rooms are beautiful, with views, like the lobby, that create holiday memories to treasure. Both the pools are lovely; the afternoon walk with Nitin was a highlight, as was the zip wire! We had a truly terrific time here. Just go!

We had a great stay here. Apart from the welcome (which did not have the usual Taj warmth), we were pampered by the staff. We get some wonderful views from the lobby and from the rooms. We were excited about using the temperature controlled pool but were disappointed as the water was quite cold. It was supposed to be at 29 deg but due to wind chill factor, was much colder. Taj should really review this of keeping the pool at 29 deg and if the guest wants it warmer, should increase the temperature. Afterall, the infinity pool in mountains is one of the attractions of the property. We ended up spending some time in the open jacuzzi as the water was a bit warmer there. Suva and Ricky at Ferntree restaurant were there to take care of our needs. In fact the entire staff at the restaurant was warm and welcoming, encouraging you to try various dishes. In fact, after the restaurant at Lake Palace Udaipur, this was the place where we were pampered the most. It is worth going just to enjoy the hospitality. We went for the nature walk where Nitin shared information on the local topography. He kept it interesting. Boltas took us around the property in the buggy, highlighting various aspects. All in all, a wonderful memorable stay, though we missed using the swimming pool.

Initially, I had some problems with the resort but Ginil the front office manager and the GM Mr Vikas Kumar took such good care of me and were extremely mindful of my suggestions to improve the guest experience and the property that I changed my mind. Not everything is perfect but when you visit a Taj property the people working with the Taj make sure to make it perfect for you. It’s the best of Indian hospitality “athiti dev ho bhava” Taj literally make it happen for you.

We had an incredible 2-night stay at The Taj Coorg Resort. The experience was top-notch, with comfortable accommodations, gourmet cuisine, and exceptional service from the dedicated and professional staff. Upon arrival, Front Office Manager Ginil Varghese warmly greeted us and provided a thorough overview of the resort's facilities, eco-friendly construction, and outdoors activities. His passion and knowledge were truly impressive. The cottage transfer was seamless, and our room was spacious with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. We spent hours lounging in the comfort of our room, taking in the stunning vistas. The resort's dining options were outstanding, particularly the Grill and Dew restaurants, where Savu provided exceptional service. Ferntree's breakfast spread and Multicusine dinner experience were also noteworthy. We indulged in rejuvenating spa treatments at J Circle, expertly managed by Dr. Vidhi and Therapist Preethi, who ensured an unforgettable experience. Kudos to the entire team for making our stay truly unforgettable! We can't wait to return and experience the magic of The Taj Coorg Resort again. STAYING AT TAJ IS ALWAYS A PLEASURE. BUT THIS TIME AT THIS STAY I WANTED TO POINT OUT SOME ISSUES, FOOD WAS EXCELLENT AS USUAL, THERE WAS NO BATHROOM SCALE PRESENT IN THE BATHROOM. MY WIFE HAS SOME HEALTH ISSUES THIS TIME AND I WAS SUPRISED TO KNOW THAT TAJ MADEKERI COULD NOT PROVIDE ME A SIMPLE CROCIN TABLET OF VICKS BALM OR EAUCALYPTUS OIL FOR HER COLD AND HEADACHE. THEY NEVER HAD THE SAME AVAILABLE IN HOTEL BUT THEY WERE UNABLE TO PROCURE THE SAME ON MY REQUEST TO THEM , WHICH WAS NOT AS PER THE TAJ HOSPITALITY WHICH WE ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD TOO. SECONDLY THERE WAS NO DIGITAL BLOOD PRESSURE MACHINE AVAILABLE TO CHECK THE BP. IS WAS AVAILABE AT SPA, THAT TOO THE DISPLAY WAS NOT WORLKING. THIS WERE THE ISSUES NOT EXPECTED FOR TAJ HOSPITALITY.
