Im Prinzip ein schönes Familien-Hotel. Gut organisiert und freundlich. Der Garten und die Pflanzen sind das Highlight des Hotels und schaffen Wohlfühl-Atmosphäre. ABER: Abgewohnt und dringender Renovierungsbedarf der Bäder und der Bestuhlung im Restaurant-Bereich. Der Pool und der Strand sind sehr schön. Mit Sonnen- und Schatten-Plätzen (sofern nicht reserviert). Durch den zusätzlich getrennten Kleinkinder-Bereich im Hotel war am Strand auch eher ruhig. Das Meer war super klar und warm, aber Vorsicht, große Steine im Brandungs-Bereich als „Erosions-Schutz“. Es gibt ausreichend saubere Toiletten und Duschen auch in Strand/Pool-Nähe. Das Essen am Buffet ist gut und reichlichen (lauwarm) und für jeden ist etwas dabei. Sowohl für Kinder, als auch Menschen mit Allergien oder Intoleranzen. Es gibt auch landestypische Spezialitäten und es wird ständig nachgefüllt. Das Speisenangebot ist aber eher auf Quantität und Familien mit Kindern ausgerichtet. (Schafskäse und der griechischen Joghurt waren so lecker – ich hätte mich reinlegen können) Durch Themenabende kommt Abwechslung ins Buffet. Alles Prima. ACHTUNG: bei Halbpension müssen die Tischgetränke extra bezahlt werden (war mir so nicht klar bei Buchung, stand im Kleingedruckten irgendwo). Das Hotel liegt so ziemlich am Ende der Amoudara Bucht. Es kommt noch ein Hotel und dann ein Kraftwerk. Ja, man sieht die Schornsteine des Kraftwerkes, aber man vergisst sie auch gleich wieder. Der Hotel-Shop ist vielseitig sortiert. Mit allem was man so kurzfristig braucht oder vergessen hat. Auch gekühlte Getränke, Keks, Zeitungen, von Zahnpasta bis Badelatschen… Die Busverbindung zur Einkaufs-Meile und nach Heraklion klappt gut und ist nicht teuer. Die Bushaltestelle liegt direkt vorm Hotel-Areal an der Straße, bis zur Einkaufsmeile noch ca. 2 km, nach Heraklion ca. 15 km (dauert 30 min) alle 20 min kommt ein Bus in beide Richtungen. ABER: Ich hatte sehr kurzfristig Kurzurlaub gebucht und es waren nur noch Low-Cost Zimmer verfügbar. KEIN Low-Cost-Zimmer buchen! Das Zimmer lag im Nebengebäude-Trackt gegenüber des Hoteleinganges /Rezeption. Es war laut. Von früh morgens bis spät abends reger Publikums-Verkehr von ankommenden oder abreisenden Gästen und Bussen, oder Gästen, die mit Bus unterwegs waren und zurückkamen. Die Animation des Nachbar-Hotels war so laut, als wären wir live dabei gewesen. Eine Animation in unserem Hotel fand nur bedingt statt aufgrund Corona-Beschränkungen. Zweites Zimmer-Manko: nur über Aussen-Treppen zu erreichen, nicht geeignet für viele Koffer, alte oder kranke Menschen. Drittes Zimmer-Manko: Das Bad, um die Badewanne war eklig schimmlig. Das ist einem 4-Sterne-Hotel nicht würdig. Ich habe Bilder angefügt. Bei unserer Ankunft, bat ich an der Rezeption um ein anders Zimmer. Mir wurde eines angeboten im selben „Low-Cost-Komplex“ aber im Erdgeschoss – das wäre eher ein „downgrade“ gewesen und da wir nur 4 Tage blieben, war es uns dann zu viel Action mit einem Zimmertausch.

Einfach vom Flughafen zu erreichen, wir haben gerade auf dem #6 Stadtbus gesprang, und es gibt einen Bushalte direkt vor dem Grundstück. Stadtbusse sind sauber, und billig, Ich denke es war etwa 5€ oder so, und dauert etwa 35 Minuten. Einchecken war wirklich reibungslos. Der Ort ist spotless, der Kundenservice ist sehr gut, sie haben uns in einen kleinen Bungalow direkt neben dem Strand upgraded. Wir wurden von einem Golfwagen, der schön war. Die Unterkunft war sauber, und neue, schöne Bett, angemessen Badezimmer, es ist ein wenig klein, aber hat eine Dusche, keine Tube. Echt schöne Deckfläche Kaffee zu haben und zu hören auf den Ozean. Das Zimmer verfügt über einen kleinen Kühlschrank, einen sicheren, anständigen Kleidungsraum, einen kleinen Sofa, Queensgröße Bett, großes TV und großes WiFi. Wir haben überall auf der Website WiFi verfügbar. Wir haben für das Frühstückspaket gewählt, das eigentlich sehr nett war. Buffet-Stil, aber buchstäblich Dutzende von Optionen. Frische Früchte, Brot, Käse, Joghurt, Getreide, viele heiße Gerichte, Sie werden nicht hungrig gehen. Wir hatten auch einen formellen sitzend schönen Abendessen, das auch sehr schön war. Wir haben keine der Einrichtungen vor Ort wirklich genutzt, aber wir haben uns einen Tag für ein paar Stunden am Pool gehängt. Obwohl es scheint, es waren viele Leute noch viele Lounges verfügbar. Der Pool sah wirklich schön aus, nur wenige Leute verwendeten es. Strandbereich hat auch Lounges und Schaum für den kostenlosen Gebrauch. Sehr schöner Sand und schlanker Strand, groß für Kinder, aber es wird windig, so beachten Sie das. Eindrucksvolle Menge Raucher kann eine stabile Versorgung mit Zigarettenbutten in den Sand auf allen Stränden, die wir besucht haben. Art von Brutto, aber scheint das eine europäische Sache? Kann man nicht sagen, wir haben das anderswo gesehen. Ich würde leicht re.mend diesen Ort, weil es wirklich sauber war, Lebensmittel war schön, leicht zu erreichen, viele von der Website Essen, Geschenkshops, Bakeries, Gemüsegeschäfte, und Autovermietung Orte innerhalb von 10 Minuten zu Fuß.

The hotel is in a lovely hilltop location with stunning views of the bay below. You will need a car to get there and to move around as the location means that it is quite a climb to the bay below. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The junior suite we had was well appointed and the terrace and private sun deck area welcomed. The suite itself was well equipped with a small kitchenette and separate bedroom. The positioning of the bed was peculiar and not having a headboard strange, as was it being against one wall. Not being a big bed, it was tight for two people especially the one nearest the wall. The toilet seat was also broken, which I am surprised the cleaning people did not notice, as it looked as if it has been this way for a while. We had one dinner in the restaurant. We were the only ones and the food mediocre at best. Breakfast on the other hand was very nice with lots of choice.

Unser Aufenthalt für sieben Tage begann leider etwas turbulent. Als wir im Hotel ankamen wurde uns mitgeteilt, das unser gebuchtes Zimmer (Sharingpool mit Meerblick) auf ein Zimmer mit privatem Pool mit Meerblick aufgewertet wird. Was grundsätzlich positiv anzumerken ist. Als wir das Zimmer betreten haben mussten wir leider nach kurzer Zeit festestellen, dass sich das Zimmer in keinem guten Zustand befindet und garnicht gut gesäubert wurde. Als wir unseren Unmut beim Hotelpersonal geäußert haben, wurde unser Anliegen sofort sehr ernst genommen. Am nächsten Tag wurde das Zimmer gründlich gereinigt und der Pool des Hotelzimmers wurde von Sand und Schmutz befreit. Die Hotelzimmer wurden anschließend täglich sehr gut gereinigt und Abends kontrollierte eine Reinigungskraft zusätzlich die Zimmer auf ihre Sauberkeit. Wir wurden als ”Entschuldigung” an zwei Abenden in zwei der drei wirklich sehr guten a la carte Restaurants eingeladen und bekamen zusätzlich eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit des Servicepersonals. Die Hotelanlage ist insgesamt sehr sauber und das Personal ist hilfsbereit und offen für jegliche Kritik. Man merkt, das der Gast und dessen Wohlbefinden im Vordergrund stehen. Das Essen am Buffet ist sehr gut und abwechslungsreich. Einen Besuch ist das Firnessstudio des Hotels wert auch wenn Sport im Urlaub nicht immer leicht fällt. Die Geräte sind neu und die Aussicht auf das Meer ist fantastisch. Ich habe vorher noch kein Hotel besucht das an so vielen Stellen der Anlage einen so schönen Meerblick bietet. Insgesamt hat das Hotel unsere Erwaartungen alle erfüllt. Dabei ist der ausgezeichnete Service hervorzuheben.

Access to the hotel's private beach, outdoor pool, garden, water sports (non-motorized) will further enhance your satisfying stay. Pelagos Apartments is an excellent choice from which to explore Crete Island or to simply relax and rejuvenate.

I had a pleasant 7 night stay here at this accommodation while in Heraklion, Crete. It belongs to the Lato Boutique, which is the main hotel. The Annex is right opposite and required card access to enter. Room was the Economy room (15 sq. metres), a little on the small side, but good enough for a solo traveller. The room was right next to the stairwell and the lift, so there were times I could hear people moving about, but at night it was very quiet, and there were no sleep disruptions. Bed was comfy, air-conditioning was also good. The shower was also good, with shampoo and soap provided, though I noticed it was running a little low towards the end of my stay (i.e., no refills were done). I also appreciated that a luggage rack was provided, along with two bottles of water on check-in day. Fridge was big enough to fit lots of mineral water bottles to keep them cold, which would be a great reprieve in the summer time. Room safe was incredibly huge as well, it can easily store laptops securely, if needed. The elevator door got stuck on the day of check-out, but still worked, so not too big of an issue there. Wi-Fi requires a special code that you can get from the reception. My first code strangely stopped working after two days, but was promptly rectified after I informed the reception of the issue. There were no other connectivity issues for me. The hotel location is pretty near to the Venetian Port, and the Rocca Fortress; it is also walking distance away from the main shopping street in Heraklion and lots of good eating places nearby. There are also supermarkets nearby to get water as well. It does get quiet at night, but I did not encounter any incidents that made me feel unsafe. My room came with buffet breakfast included, which is served in the main building. Breakfast starts service from 7 am onwards, and was generally quite crowded at the start. Depending on the crowd level, the staff will occasionally open up a new section of the dining area. Breakfast was generally good, there was a good spread of American breakfast items, to pastries, ham and cheese and even Greek yogurt with a lot of condiments. It varied a little bit from day-to-day, but was generally the same for the most part.

Kleine aber schöne Hotelanlage mit nur 36 Zimmern. Wir sind leider im älteren Gebäudeteil untergebracht, bedingt wohl aber durch die Buchung als Superior Zimmer. Achtet bitte darauf, das es ein Standard Superior und ein Superior Zimmer gibt. Die älteren sind wohl die Standard Superior! Zimmer ist dennoch ok, es fehlt aber ein Kleiderschrank, sodass man als Paar bei 2 Wochen doch aus dem Koffer leben muss. Betten sind eher zu hart als zu weich! Wir hatten HP gebucht, Frühstück in Buffetform, Abend Essen als Menü, wobei das Hauptgericht zeitweise die Wahl aus 2 Angeboten besteht. In aller Regel sind es 5 Gänge. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr nett und stets bemüht. Qualität der Speisen ist durchweg gut bis sehr gut. Etwas mehr lokale Speisen hätten wir uns gewünscht. Die Bar ist sehr schön gestaltet und der Barkeeper ist immer freundlich und bemüht etwas tolles zu kreieren. Gemeinsam haben wir versucht einen MaiTai zu mixen, der war auch sehr lecker, aber hier fehlen leider die richtigen Zutaten. Wein und Bier sind natürlich verfügbar und lecker. Ich sage hier Daumen hoch! Cocktails gut! Wir haben noch 3 Tage bis zur Abreise und freuen uns weiterhin auf eine schöne Zeit im Hotel. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis hat für uns gepasst. Nutzt aber bitte ach mal die kleinen Gaststätten im Umkreis!
