Bargain price of less than £20 a night, walked past it twice because I couldn't believe that was my hotel, it looked too fancy! Be aware that the name on the hotel is different from the one on the booking. Perfect location, right at Viru Gate between the old town and the modern shopping malls etc, close to everything, just round the corner from the tram stop to the airport. Check-in was quick and easy, room was warm (you can control it yourself), lots of plug sockets, comfy bed, modern bathroom, minibar on the large side and strangely made no noise, didn't hear any outside noise either, lovely quiet stay. Pity the view out the window is of a brick wall but it means privacy isn't an issue so you can have your curtains open all the time, there's also a Do Not Disturb sign so you can be left in peace (if you need more toilet rolls you can restock from the bathroom opposite the breakfast room on the ground floor!). I was able to leave my luggage for free on the last day in a secure room behind reception, no issues. Really good stay, didn't try the breakfast but maybe will next time, I'll definitely be back! Highly recommended.

Das Hotel war in Ordnung. Die Zimmer einfach, aber zweckmäßig. Etwas klein, kaum Platz für den Koffer. Das Bad war groß genug, neu, genug Ablagefläche. Das ”neue Konzept”, welches hier angepriesen wurde, gefällt mir aus zwei Gründen nicht: 1. nur ein Handtuch pro Person - heißt, das Gesicht und der Hintern im gleichen Tuch, nicht mein Geschmack. 2. nur eine große Bettdecke - ich habe gerne zwei, das spart den Kampf um die Decke. Der TV hatte 4 oder 5 deutsche Programme, großer Flat, sehr angenehm. Besonders positiv ist das Restaurant im Hotel, sehr günstige und tolle Burger, supernettes Personal. Das Frühstück war auch besser als erwartet, guter Kaffee, frisches Obst, Eier, Pancakes, Joghurt - richtig gut. WLan gut wie zu Hause, klasse. Die Lage ist okay, rundherum recht wenig aber eine Bushaltestelle direkt vor dem Hotel - in 10 Minuten ist man mitten in der Altstadt. Passt!

Der Transport ist äußerst bequem und liegt 10 Gehminuten von der Altstadt von Tallinn entfernt. 5 Minuten vom Einkaufszentrum entfernt ist super gut, sauber, schallisoliert, das Frühstück ist besonders gut und sowohl Ost als auch West haben eine gute Ernährung.

My wife and I are perennial European city tourists, and over time, we've learned to stay in the historic center of whatever city we've decided to explore. I do not believe that for people on a vacation stay like us, there is currently a better place to stay, available at anything close to a reasonable price, in the city Talinn. The hotel is is a European Hotelstar 4-star rated hotel pushing hard for a 5-star rating. The staff from reception to housekeeping is excellent and highly capable, the breakfast spread is really something special, the rooms are spacious and quiet, and I am really hard pressed to find a negative. I can unhesitatingly recommend this place to other travelers. Check out my other reviews. See if I've said the same things about other places. Then make your decisions about booking your stay. You won't be disappointed.

Ein sehr schönes und gemütliches kleines (Shop/Design) Hotel in einem Kadriorg Bezirk. Wenn Sie gerne gehen möchten, brauchen Sie keine öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel, um alle Landmarken zu besuchen. Absolut anders Atmosphäre als in Kette-Hotels im Zentrum. Das Personal war großartig. Die Zimmer sind schön renoviert und schmackvoll (scandi Dekor). Es gibt keine Taschen oder Schranken im Zimmer, um die Kleidung/Objekte von der Tasche entfernt zu setzen, aber zusätzliche Möbel würden nicht gut ausgestattet angesichts des Zimmerplans. Am Ende war das Fehlen von Schranken/Wärmeschranken etc. überhaupt kein Problem. Das Frühstück ist kein Buffet, sondern drei Wahlen (Ich hatte keine Lust). Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet/geschmackvoll. Der einzige neg. Punkt: Es gibt eine Gourmet-Café im Gegensatz zur Rezeption, ich hätte gern einen guten Kaffee am Frühstück erwartet, aber es gab schlechte Instant-Kaffee serviert in den Thermos stattdessen. Die Lösung für einen Gast ist, einen Morgenkaffee aus dem Café zu bestellen. Jedoch ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis des Hotels wirklich gut. Die Kaffeefrage kann vergessen werden, da die Gesamterfahrung super war. Sehr glücklich und zufrieden über meinen Aufenthalt, würde jederzeit zurückkehren.

Komfortable Zimmer, hilfsbereites Personal und sehr gutes Frühstück. Die Lage ist etwas von der Stadtzentrum entfernt, Restaurants usw. , aber 20 Minuten zu Fuß nie getötet niemand. Wäre sicher noch einmal hier. Der Flughafen ist in 5 Euro Taxifahrt.

Das Swissotel liegt am Rande der Altstadt, etwa 10 Gehminuten entfernt. Das Hotel verfügt über fast 30 Etagen, der Blick von weiter oben ist gigantisch. Der Empfang ist freundlich und service-orientiert. Sonderwünsche werden schnell und unbürokratisch erledigt (wir erbaten Bett-Topper, dauerte keine halbe Stunde). Die Zimmer sind groß und mit Panorama-Fenstern ausgestattet, die Boxspringbetten sehr bequem. Das WLAN ist kostenlos und leistungsfähig. Der Übernachtungspreis von gut 100 Euro ist absolut fair. Was uns nicht gefallen hat: Die Minibar enthielt nur zwei Flaschen Wasser, die Hotelbar war am Wochenende geschlossen, das Frühstück mit 19 Euro überteuert. Im 26. Stock waren wir in einem Raum neben Fahrstühlen untergebracht, die man im Betrieb hörte und von denen leider regelmäßige metallische Klopfgeräusche ausgingen. Dies machte für uns nachts Ohropax notwendig. Ein Zimmersessel hatte Bekanntschaft mit Rotwein gemacht, der aber erst zu sehen war, wenn man das Sitzkissen abnahm (kein schöner Anblick, da sollte mal der ganze Sessel gereinigt werden). Das alles war jetzt kein Drama, aber ein Hotel dieser Klasse sollte für derartige Umstände immer sensibel bleiben. Insgesamt war es aber eine gute Erfahrung. Ohne die beschriebenen Einschränkungen hätte ich klare 5 Punkte vergeben.
