Offshore - the Inn Collection Group

Lovely modern hotel in a great location. Rooms were spacious and the bunk beds in our family room were perfect. Bathroom was clean and nicely designed with a lovely shower. We ate in the pub and the food was delicious and the kids meals were good value. Only feedback for review is the lack of seating inside the pub as we came back on the Sunday evening at 8pm and there wasn’t anywhere to sit insidr and relax with a drink. No lounge area other than bar stools at the bar so not ideal when staying with children- we had to walk to the Dalmeny hotel to have a drink and when we came back at 9pm there still weren’t enough seats. I did mention this when we were leaving so hopefully this is taken into consideration. Even some outside heating on the patio would be good! I would revisit this hotel but probably not with children.

Nowhere to hang coat or dress could only fit shirts ,had to fold dress and coat . Had an ironing board in the area where they could have fitted a rail . This was just a small thing and we thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The staff are really pleasant and hardworking .

A pub with rooms rather than a hotel with a bar. The overall first impression of walking in to a pub bar for a hotel room reservation is not great and having to be amongst pub users whilst checking in is not great. Check in was terrible. No customer service. Just self service on an infuriating touchscreen - not particularly great for an area visited by lots of pensioners. Additionally, the check in information was data mining irrelevant information to a hotel room booking. The big national chain that uses self check in screens is a lot more user friendly - this should be the operating model if you insist on using screens. The cooked breakfast was good. Also tried the food in in the evening after check out and both the menu and food was good.
