I have nothing but the highest praise for the Virginian Hotel and its staff. I also want to thank the owner and whoever else was involved for having the vision and courage to restore this beautiful old building and for taking a chance on downtown Lynchburg. Everything about this hotel greatly exceeded my expectations. The room was nice and quiet with a beautiful view. The bed was very comfortable and I loved the shower. The hotel was immaculately clean throughout. I got excellent service and benefits with my Hilton Diamond status. I wholeheartedly recommend the Skyline and William & Henry restaurants. Both are apparently owned by the same person and the food and service were top notch. We had delicious and memorable meals at both restaurants. What really set the Virginian apart from me was the impeccable service I received from every single employee I encountered, both in the hotel and the restaurants. Everyone was unfailingly polite and helpful. I unfortunately didn't write down the names of all of the employees, but I want to especially compliment the father/son bellman team of Jonathan and Colin, bellman Connor, and front desk staff Memory and Daniel. I have to especially mention Colin, who impressively went straight from his bellman shift during the day to help wait on our table at William & Henry at night and then was right back at his bellman post very early the next morning. I encourage you to stay at the Virginian the next time you visit Lynchburg and urge you to eat at both restaurants. I will definitely stay at the Virginian in the future and want to again thank everyone for a perfect weekend.

Ich würde nochmal an dieser Stelle bleiben, da es sich an der Autobahn bequem und das Personal und der Pool eingeladen waren.

Schön konzipiert und dekoriert -- sowohl unser Zimmer als auch die gemeinsamen Bereiche. Sieht nicht institutionell aus. Eigenschaft ist ein Block von der Hauptstraße entfernt, die es leicht zugänglich macht, aber auch ruhig. Front Desk-Clerks waren sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und freundlich. Unser Zimmerthermostat ging ein bisschen rutschig, es war schwer zu kontrollieren. Aber alles andere über unser Zimmer war sehr komfortabel und wir schliefen gut. Nur enttäuschend - das Fitness-Zimmer wurde geschlossen (wahrscheinlich wegen COVID) und das ”Bistro” Bar/Snack/Lounge-Gebiet wurde geschlossen (Vorsitzeber sagte wegen ”nicht genug Geschäfts”). Ich verstehe, dass die Führung Entscheidungen treffen muss, die das Hotel profitieren können. Ich schulde sie nicht daran. Diese Entscheidungen haben uns jedoch dazu geführt, dass wir diesen schönen Ort nicht voll genießen können. Hoffentlich werden andere, die in Zukunft hier bleiben, eine komplettere Erfahrung erhalten. Eine letzte Höhle - diese Unterkunft hat keinen Schwimmbad oder Jacuzzi, wenn es Ihnen wichtig ist.

Wir möchten eine Geschichte darüber teilen, wie ein Mitarbeiter in diesem Hilton Garden Inn oben und darüber ging. Mein Mann verließ seinen Computer im Zimmer und wir haben das nicht erkannt, bis wir nach Ohio nach Hause kamen. Er kontaktierte das Hotel und sprach mit dem Abendmaster. Leider erhielt er nicht ihren Namen. Als ihre Abendschiebung beendet war, nahm sie die Zeit, ins Zimmer zu gehen, um seinen Computer zu suchen. Sie fand es und rief uns sofort, uns zu versichern, dass es dort war. Sie hätte bis zum nächsten Tag warten können, aber sie nicht. Sie hat dann Vereinbarungen getroffen, um es zu uns zu senden, und es kam ein paar Tage später. Das Hotel ist sehr gut, das Hotelpersonal war freundlich, das Zimmer war wunderbar und obwohl wir nicht die Möglichkeit hatten, das Frühstück zu bekommen, konnte ich sagen, es war großartig, als wir am Morgen den kostenlosen Kaffee holten. Ich möchte auch darauf hinweisen, dass dieses Hotel in einer tollen Lage, nahezu alles ist.
