Highfield Bed & Breakfast

Oh wow! Fraser and Maria have made the best, most beautiful, most comfortable B&B we have EVER stayed in! From now on, we know we will never stay anywhere else when in this area. Everything is just so well-planned, well thought out and spotlessly clean. There is loads of parking and an EV charging point. We had a large high-ceilinged, very comfortable room with a great shower, lovely bathroom, very comfortable beds, and loads of space to store suitcases etc. The breakfasts are to die for - absolutely fantastic - you don’t need to eat again till teatime! Finally, the whole place just has that amazing friendly ambience that makes it feel like coming home. Thank you so much Fraser and Maria - this will be the first of many trips!

Outstanding. Immaculately clean premises. The room (7) is large and bright with a full hospitality tray and a mini fridge which has fresh milk and water bottles (reusable). The bathroom is spotless with a generous toiletries basket, large fluffy towels, rain shower and hand shower. Breakfast is sublime. Cereals, fruit, yoghurts, juices and many cooked options. Nothing is too much trouble for Fraser and Maria and it is like staying with friends. Parking is so easy and it’s only a five minute walk into town. We are booked to stay again next year and would thoroughly recommend.

Everything about our stay was perfect. The owners could not do enough for you, room amazing with loads of little special touches such as bottles of cooled water and breakfast was exceptional. They even willingly dropped another couple at the ferry rather than ordering them a taxi. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you.

Perfect location. Lovely rooms. Great hosts. Fabulous breakfasts. If you are staying in the Lymington area and need a place to stay this is the one. We booked three rooms and stayed for two nights over the August Bank Holiday, for a family wedding.

We chose Highfield Bed and Breakfast after reading all the glowing reviews. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by our very friendly host, Fraser. As he gave us our card keys, he knew exactly who we were and remembered our dietary preferences. We were delighted with our room, which was huge, absolutely immaculate and had lots of lovely touches. These included water for us to use in the kettle or to drink, plenty of sachets of teas and coffee and also dairy-free biscuits. The towels were sublime, as were the stylish toiletries provided. I have never stayed in a room that was so pristine. To top it off, our bed, again huge, was super comfortable, bedecked with high-quality linen. Breakfast was amazing, with a choice of toasts, jams, eggs, cereals, fresh fruits, yogurt and of course, a cooked breakfast - we had a very thoughtfully-prepared plant-based version. Fraser and Maria are a husband and wife team who do everything themselves in this establishment. They could not have been more accommodating, friendly or helpful and we really appreciate all their efforts and how lovely it was to stay there. This is very high-class accommodation and no-one could possibly be disappointed to stay here - thank you so much to our wonderful hosts!

Highfield is a wonderful, comfortable, stylish, spotlessly clean and friendly B&B. 100% recommended. The rooms are restfully decorated and pretty spacious. You cannot hear noise from other rooms. During a spell of very hot weather there were bottles of chilled water and a fan ready in the rooms. On site parking is a real bonus. Breakfast was served in a light and airy dining room.
