The Central Kirchberg - Smart ApartHotel

Be careful not to get this one mixed up with the other central hotel in Luxembourg, this one is on Rue Du Kiem in Neudorf (short distance to Kirchberg). Yes, there were a few niggles here and there, but my general feelings about the Central were good. The room was nice and modern, the bed comfortable and the room quiet and a comfortable temperature. We visited in October and all was fine, however the hotel does not have any air conditioning, so in the summer months, things may be different. Located in Neudorf, just across the road from the Mercure and close to bus stops. The hotel does have its own basement car park (chargeable), but the buses are so good (and free in Luxembourg) that you can easily manage without a car. Having the small kitchen area with kettle, fridge and microwave was handy. Getting from the airport is easy with just one change at Cents Waassertuerm. Catch the 29 from stop 3 towards Hesperange, Cité Um Schlass (be careful as there are two 29 stops – one for each direction, off at Cents, Waassertuerm. Go to stop 4 and catch the 7 or 25 and get off at Huesegrënnchen. Hotel is just across the road.

Modern hotel with comfortable and very clean rooms. The personnel is very friendly and helpful. Excellent location for business trips or leisure, having a bus stop in front of the hotel. I managed to visit the city few hours before the business meeting. Very good value for the money.
