Amazing hidden gem just a few minutes from Potrerillos. Breathtaking views, quiet and peaceful but with outstanding hospitality service and great dining. Don’t miss out on visiting when you fly to Mendoza. Can’t wait to get back soon!!!!

The view from the lodge looking towards the Andes mountains is breathtaking especially at sunrise or sunset. It’s a peaceful place and there are many hiking trails in the area. The kitchen has what one needs to cook. The room is spotless. The staff were very attentive. We wanted to make vegetables and Neyla took me to a local shop to buy them and the next day she supplied me with more fresh fruits and vegetables. They really go above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay. WiFi works well for video.

3 of us stayed there for 2 nights. Ms Neyla was perfect host nothing was to much to trouble for her and left you to your own privacy. Room was perfectly set out. Great shower. Pool was amazing. Great views from room balcony and pool. Breakfast and dinner brought to your balcony. Food was perfect. Will recommend to family and friends and would 100% stay again

Peaceful mountain lodge This place is very peaceful and has great view of the mountains. The staff were also very helpful and attentive. We wanted to have vegetables and Neyla took me to buy fresh vegetables at a local shop so we could make them in our room. Rosa the housekeeper was also very polite and attentive. The fruit trees in the garden was a bonus. This time of year they have fresh pears. It is also convenient to a few hiking trails. Internet was fast enough for our work as well.

I would absolutely recommend staying here! The service was so incredibly attentive, the food was so delicious (and surprisingly affordable), and the scenery was breathtaking. To top it off, we enjoyed hanging out with their friendly outdoor cat, sweet, sweet Antonio. 10/10!!

El Carmelo Mountain Lodge is an oasis of pure cultured elegance: the gardens, the pool and cabanas, the exceptional food and wines. We came to the region to day hike Aconcagua and Parque Provincial Cordon Del Plata. We loved the hikes but found ourselves looking forward to a return to the lodge, where we whiled away many hours on the patio watching the day end over the mountains. We slept with no AC, just a window open. The beds and amenities are top notch.

Beautiful lodge in a superb location with just a few fabulous rooms, pool and dining. Also a lovely garden. The attention to detail in each room is excellent: decor is tasteful and modern, well equipped kitchenette, plenty of soft seating, a balcony looking uninterrupted to the Andes with chaise lounge chairs with warm ponchos provided - we got up to see the sunrise hitting the Andes. An excellent dinner in the old house and breakfast on our terrace in the morning. We were lucky to have a chance to chat with Ricardo, our host. Charming, well travelled and great company.
