When everything goes wrong (at first), things can still go very right! Some context for readers. My wife and arrived in Lucknow just after a wonderful stay at the Andaz Delhi for our friends' wedding. As a Globalist and general Hyatt enthusiast, I was excited to stay at the Hyatt Regency Lucknow, which given all of my research is (and still is) the best Hotel in Lucknow. As you guessed, the stay started off rocky. I arranged for an airport pickup with the hotel and when I arrived (around 3:44 PM or so) the Suite I had booked turned out to be not ready. The front lead, Sonali did her very best to assure me that our room would be ready soon (as there seems to be have been full occupancy upon arrival). We were ushered into the very excellent Roccas and treated to some Masala chais as we waited...and waited...and waited... Around 5:08 PM or so, we were finally issued our room keys by the very personable Shees, and we headed up to our room, and my wife was greeted by a little eight legged critter. You know what they say, happy wife, happy life. At this point, having experienced the height of service at the Andaz Delhi, I'm a bit upset. My wife doubly so. Given the current situation, in my head I pictured the stay going a particular way. We had 4 more nights and none of my thoughts were positive. Literally minutes after we walked into the room, I was greeted by the very capable Rooms Division ***ager Piyush who profusely apologized, not only for the delay but also for the unfortunate encounter with our little friend. We had a bit of back and forth and he left me with a very confident: "Mr. Lee, do not worry, we will turn your stay around." And turn them around he did. The very next day (2/4) Piyush and his team moved my wife to a brand new suite, which he had housekeeping super deep clean. He did this on a sold out night when all the rooms were to be accounted for, (I didn't even ask for a room change). Then Piyush and Sonali personally came to our room to hand deliver some of Lucknow's signature chikankari's which was a very thoughtful gesture. The day after that (3/4), I was able to have a chat with the GM of the Lucknow Regency, Mr. Mendonsa who had heard about my initial experience and wanted to ensure that the hotel took care of me. It was particularly inspiring to hear from him personally as it made me feel very valued not only as a guest, but on a personal level, like he truly wanted to take in my feedback and push the hotel to greater heights. That's a great GM. "This is the best hotel in Lucknow," I was told; and honestly after completing my stay here and seeing how hard all the staff work, I believe it. The property has very comfortable beds (in my case the Suite). Food and beverage at all of the facilities was excellent, from Rocca's to China House (I highly recommend trying China House if you get a chance, it's very good).The breakfast buffet is also very extensive as well as well serviced. Hyatt regency is a high class hotel in Lucknow staff was very helpful my daughter was very happy overall experience is awesome.

We had a quick two nights stay at this hotel which was suggested as centrally located and comfortable for stay. The facilities we could try were limited to banquet, room service, breakfast but still every aspect was perfectly arranged and hotel also has great swimming pool and gymnasium.

This is probably my worst experience ever staying in a hotel which its meant to be 5 star. I have stayed in Hyatt in Amritsar and it was amazing hence booked this place and this hotel its definitely not worthy oof the star rating it has. When arrived at the hotel no-one welcomed us or helped in unloading our luggage from the vehicle and moving it into the property. My driver unloaded the luggage and then t was sat outside for a number oof minutes before I highlighted the luggage needs to be bought inside. We had arrived late at the hotel and at check-ini one of the chaps who checked us in was obviously in a bad mood as he did not smile and he was using a curt tone from a frustration with a previous guest. He handed me the check in card and I commented that it doesn't hurt to smile. I asked if my luggage will be bought to the room and he said go over there and tell them and they will bring it. Upon check in I have never had to worry about luggage as it is a smooth operation and the luggage gets to my room flawlessly. The chap who checked us in did not even explain the hotel and how to get to the room. I had to ask the question and confirm I had Half Board included and the response I got was these are the two lifts and the restaurant is on the first floor. I went to concierge and gave them my room details and asked for my luggage to be taken to the room whilst I go for my evening meal. Again I waited a long time before I was acknowledged which made me feel totally invisible. I went for dinner and even there the service was appalling. I gave the room number to the host and she did not even show me the table or ask f it was my first visit. I walked in and waited to be shown to a table which I was not so I proceeded to sit at any table. No one approached us for a long time after which I stop up and went to one of the ***agers and said the service was awful and no one has greeted us, offered us a drink or explained our food options. He apologised and the disappeared off before he came back and said this is all the buffet help yourself except we are closing in 30 minutes so be quick. Which is rubbish. After dinner I entered the room and there was an awful damp smell and the carpets felt a bit damp too. I looked in the bathroom and only one of everything was left although the room was booked for two people. I had to phone housekeeping to bring nearly everything again so there was enough for two people. They had left soap bars but no soap dish to put it on. When Housekeeping came I explained there are two of us and that we need enough items for two people, so all he bought was 1 more bath towel and a soap bar. I said we needed more hand towels, face towels, other toiletries for bathing, etc, etc. Surely as a guest I shouldn't have to tell the housekeeping guy what is required in the room. This is the hotel which i ever seen. Here service is the best who is well ***ured and here bathroom was oho . That was very nice trip for my family because of their services . This becomes my trip veri deligent. At that price i found what a lovely room are there.

Hotel ambience is very good and employee is very good rc club is also very good room is uptodate and great ambience in inside room .. I am overally very much satisfied this is my first time in Lucknow ...front desk from Shivam is very nice person and very good
