Villa Pedone

To stay at Villa Pedone is to a have a glimpse of how nobility lived in Italy. The house is covered in art, the furniture is awesome and often pieces of art in itself, the garden, the surrounding neighborhood. Of corse the comfort is top quality, as it is the sleep, the shower, the amenities, the breakfast. As it is located 6km from Lucca, in a rural area where services are not available, Duccio makes clear to customers that the food and drinks (coffee, tea, fruits, cheese, etc) conveniently left by the dinning table are to be used as self service with no extra cost. Though perhaps a necessity given the location, one can not fail to notice how generous he is by offering quality snacks that can substitute a night meal. Duccio, by the way is a treat in itself. A gentleman, and kind soul, lovenly caring for the family property transformed in this B&B, helped us with cancelling the reservation for one night, as well finding us an alternative place to stay by Lucca's train station, a necessity due to our ill planned logistics to return the car at Pisa and spend another night at Pedone. He spent his time helping us out against his own business and gain. This is rare. As Villa Pedone is a rare experience in anyone's Tuscany experience.

Stayed for 5 nights . Villa is in beautiful surroundings . Made to feel very welcome from the start . Ate there 3 evenings the food and service was superb . Loved the tea and coffee available all day . Couldn’t fault the place . Super find !

We were a family of three visiting the area for the first time - the surrounding countryside is stunning and arriving at the Villa was magical. Wonderful room, amazing pool and such lovely grounds and views. The Villa is sublime and the owner there to help with everything at all times but you are free to roam and enjoy the space- perfect balance. Breakfast was great and our only regret was not staying for their evening meal - next time! Our daughter said it’s the best place we stayed all trip but I think that might have been because of the adorable donkeys she fed a few fields away. We will definitely return it’s a real special place.

We spent 3 nights here after Xmas. The rooms are spacious, warm and very comfortable. The whole villa is beautiful with sitting areas you can relax in and read a book. Breakfast is traditional Italian style and coffee and tea are available all day. There is even a bar with n honesty system - we did not use this. Villa Pedone is set in the hills just a short drive out of Lucca. The location is peaceful, pretty and serene. The host was friendly and offered useful advice on visiting Lucca and local restaurants.

For a peaceful and relaxing stay in the Tuscan Countryside, this is the place. The proprietor Duccio is so kind and provides you with the perfect room, decorated in antiques with a perfect view out any of your windows. The breakfast is plentiful and fruit, cookies, tea and coffee offered 24/7. And there is a pool with an amazing view. 3 peaceful gardens and poolside to sit and drink wine, coffee and relax or read a book or for that matter, all of that! An A+ B&B

Um hotel bem pitoresco, casa antiga de fazenda, muito conservada. Adorei. Lugar maravilhoso, cada janela que você olha uma paisagem mais linda que outra. Cafè da manhã muito bom!! Quartos muito amplos, bem confortável.

Ci siamo trovati molto bene in questa villa del 800 panorama mozzafiato a 10minuti di auto da Lucca. Camera bella grande, accogliente, prima collazione fantastica, posto molto tranquillo, da provare..

Abbiamo passato una notte in questa villa e ci siamo trovati davvero benissimo. Splendida posizione in collina a 5 minuti dal centro di Lucca , personale gentilissimo, stanza veramente grande, forse il bagno non grandissimo ma pulito e con tutto il necessario. La colazione non è fornitissima ma comunque soddisfacente con frutta fresca ( disponibile gratuitamente anche durante la giornata così come il caffe ) brioches, pane, affettati ( confezionati ) , succhi, yogurt e tante altre cose. Purtoppo vista la temperatura non abbiamo usufruito della piscina esterna. Se dovessimo tornare da quelle parti sarà la nostra prima scelta. Consigliatissimo!

Hotel situato nelle vicinanze della città di Lucca, in zona collinare e raggiungibile in poco tempo. Dimora d'epoca con arredi d'un tempo e stanze ampie e funzionali. Colazione completa di frutta, dolci e cibi salati. Bar disponibile 24 ore su 24. Personale cordiale e che ci ha fatto sentire a casa. Piscina esterna di cui purtroppo non abbiamo potuto usufruire per la temperatura, ma molto carina e invitante
