V Maison Boutique Hotel

We liked - location, breakfast, bed and pillows very comfortable, staff amazing , complimentary mini bar, free bikes, free shuttle to anywhere in town ,  fast wifi.  Beautiful setting and deco.  Toun , the lady at the reception was amazing !!  We didn’t like - bad sewer smell in the room, window in toilet has no glass so sound from the street , especially in the morning is quite annoying.  Prices of some services are way too high : airport transfer 400,000 Kip vs 120,000 for a loca.

房間不多，但是環境很優雅，而且鬧中取靜。非常適合休閑放鬆。走兩步就到湄公河了，湄公河周邊吃的很多，有一家中國人開的可以用付款寶。

到琅勃拉邦一共住了四天，精品小型酒店，房間特別乾淨，服務特別的好，早餐很不錯，位置離主街及主要景點都特別的近，非常值得推薦！

A warning for those who book this hotel, you may not actually get a room. Instead you will be moved to a sister hotel far from town. 12/10 I booked this hotel for NYE. 12/19 I emailed the hotel to confirm my reservation. The hotel does not respond until 12/26 to tell me they have no rooms available and I will be moved to another hotel, 20+ minute walk into town. I contacted ******* for assistance, which they called the hotel and the response was it was fine if I wanted to cancel. Trying to find a new hotel 4 days before check in and during a holiday is not easy. Here's how this place became unprofessional. Notify me within one business day of my booking that you have no rooms and respond to my inquiry within one day, not 4 days before I am supposed to check-in.

V Maison is a new boutique hotel located in, I would say, probably the most strategic location in LP. The famous Popolo pizza is literally 1 minute walk away (right next door). 3 minutes to the alms offering route that monks would pass by every morning. Less than 5 minutes walk to most of the famous cafes and eateries in LuangPrabang (L’elephant, Le Benetton Cafe, Le Calao, Bamboo Tree etc), 10 minutes walk to the famous Wat Xiengthong and the Sunset Cruises companies, 15 minutes walk to the night market and morning market. The hotel also provides free bicycle but IMHO, the charm and beauty of LuangPrabang is best to be navigated by foot. ;) They have just opened their door in early October. Everything is sparkling new and exquisite. So fancy you can even literally adjust the desired temperature (say,37 Celsius) for your hot tub lol 😆 The bed is worth mentioning. I have been staying in many top hotels across the world and yet I would say V Maison has one of the softest, fluffiest, cloud-like bed that’d be in the top of my list. (They do have turn down service every evening) Service level is impeccable and meticulous. 💯 As a solo female traveler, the staffs have done their best to make me feel at home - in fact I enjoyed my stay so much I even extended my staying duration from 3 nights to 4 at V Maison. Last but not least, I really enjoyed their healthy curation of the traditional Laotian breakfast (of course they have western selections too) but I do highly recommend trying out their Laotian breakfast. The only “weakness”, if I must say, is there is no swimming pool. But if that’s not your concern, V Maison is a 99.9/100 Kudos and all the best to the team. I can’t wait to come back to V Maison and Luang Prabang next year, hopefully with my family this time. 😉
