My second time booking the Grand Mercure Accor Vacation Club Apartments. I was there on last weekend in November which was busy. This was very much a trip that took planning and shifting reservation dates a few times as rules for travel to Hunter kept changing. The team were great and patient on getting a date settled that finally worked. I was sent a personalised welcome letter in advance of stay and setting expectations well in advance. Check-in was quick and painless. I was able to check in early, get settled and relax. The team are very polite, welcoming, and professional. The room was spotless and no complaints. The team also accommodated a late check-out as well which was perfect so we could leave and head straight to our lunch reservation. I look forward to a future stay!

Was für ein wunderbares Ort zu bleiben! Diese TripAdvisor Bewertungen führten uns hier so wenig, dass wir tun konnten, war eins von uns selbst zu schreiben. Es gibt hier ein paar Bewertungen, die über verschiedene Ebenen der Unsinn schreien, mit meinem Lieblings-Ein ”Gast”, die sich über Antwerpen, die außerhalb des Himmels gehen verboten. Nun leider kann ich nicht sagen, wir sahen keine Antwerpen, aber was wir erlebt haben war erstmals Unterkunft und erstklassiger Service, vor allem von Katie, die uns bei der Rezeption begrüßte. Sie war sehr aufmerksam, zeigte uns in unsere Zimmer und ging uns durch die Heizung und Kühlung Optionen und einige andere Aspekte unseres Aufenthalts. Sie schien ihr Job wirklich zu genießen, und es zeigte, wie unser Gespräch sehr warm und freundlich war und wir unverzüglich begrüßt. Wir wollten einen Tisch im nebenanen Restaurant - Il Cacciatore - reservieren, aber leider für uns war es voll reserviert, dass In der Nacht aber hatten wir es bei der Buchung recht spät verlassen. Wir beschlossen, die Optionen zu nehmen stattdessen, die uns die Möglichkeit, in unserem Zimmer mit dem Fernseher auf und ugg Boots versiert haben. Nicht ein schlechter zweiter Preis in der Tat. Wir hatten eine Käsepizza, eine Duckpizza und eine Hühnerboscaiola. Ich muss sagen, dass die Boscaiola das Beste war, das ich je hatte, und die Pizzas waren auch ziemlich gut. Ich dachte, die Portionen wären nicht riesig, aber wir fanden sie wirklich sehr großzügig. Was das Zimmer betrifft, was könnten wir noch mehr wollen? Wir blieben in der Saddler Suite und nach dem Eintritt sah meine Frau sofort mich an, als ob sie sagen würde: ”Wie viel hast du wirklich dafür bezahlt?” Ich glaube nicht, dass sie ganz glauben konnte, wie vernünftig es war. Wir hatten eine Lounge/Essenbereich und eine Küche mit einem separaten Hauptschlafzimmer. Eine große Funktion war, dass es tatsächlich 2 Türen, die das Schlafzimmer von dem Hauptschlafzimmer trennen, dank eines kurzen Korridors zwischen den beiden. Das Badezimmer war auch größer als wir erwartet hatten. Alles war sehr sauber und in guter Ordnung. Wir brachten unsere Chromecast zusammen, aber es war überhaupt keine Notwendigkeit, da wir ein intelligentes TV mit Android TV laufen, die trotzdem gut funktionierte. Und frische Milch im Kühlschrank! Ich kann mich nicht an eine Zeit erinnern, als ich in einem Hotel wo ich das gesehen habe! Das Zimmer war im Grunde ruhig in der Nacht und wir alle hatten einen großen Schlaf. Das Bett war sehr komfortabel, das Bett war sauber und von hoher Qualität. Ich weiß nicht, dass ich gerne auf dem Sofabett schlafen würde, aber hey, mit einer 4yo Tochter, die sich an einer Treppe freuen würde, liebte sie es und war erstaunt, dass ein Sofa in ein Bett 😂 wechseln könnte. Unser Deck war ziemlich groß und ich konnte aussehen, während meine Tochter wandte der Weinberg feeding Ducks und halten einen Blick auf eine eludante Wombat, die Katie ihr erzählt hatte. Leider wurde kein Wombat gesehen, aber ich habe ihm gesagt, er wandert immer noch die Boden bis heute. Ich kann nicht wirklich sagen, ich war angenehmen überrascht, weil unser Aufenthalt Hier war nicht alles so überraschend, überhaupt dank dieser Bewertungen. Wir fanden es großartig ... Und es war! Bevor wir noch verlassen haben, erwägen wir eine weitere Entschuldigung, um wieder zu kommen und zu bleiben. Danke sehr an Kati

Wie der Name angibt, ist es ein Rückzug ....und von der täglichen Hüsten und Büsten entfernt ist diese einfach schweigend, entspannend Rückzug. Der Ort ist relativ neu und die Grundstücke werden eingerichtet, aber die Kabinenstil-Unterkünfte sind sehr modern und sehr gut ausgestattet. Mit den zusätzlichen Tönen der Frühstücksvoraussetzungen für Ihren Aufenthalt, fluffy Kleidung und Handtücher für den Pool hatte unsere Kabine unverhinderte Aussichten auf den Damm mit Schwänzen, Ducken, alle Arten von Vogelleben und Wanderungen Kangaroos. Perfekter Ort zum Hause, während wir ein wenig Wein schmecken in der Hunter Valley. Wir würden gerne dort nächstes Mal in Pokolbin bleiben. Ganz einfach, wir liebten es.

I just spent a weekend at Elyisa Health Retreat in the Hunter Valley and was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. Initially, I was concerned about being underfed (!) and the lack of coffee / wine / chocolate (LOL), but I was delighted to find that the food was not only plentiful but also exceptional. The menu featured a variety of delicious dishes, including fish tacos, chicken breast with a flavorful potato salad and vegetables, indulgent chocolate brownies, salmon soba noodles, and the most amazing bircher muesli I've ever tasted. I highly recommend this retreat, especially for anyone feeling mentally overwhelmed. The retreat offers a perfect blend of activities, from yoga and massages to invigorating walks and exquisite meals. It’s a fantastic opportunity to recharge and take care of yourself.

We had a favourable first impression at the room/ property but after 1 night you’ll start to see all the issues. We love the fact that it is a sustainable resort but there’s a lot to be desired after 5 nights in their suite. Day 1: Checkin was rushed, reception didn’t explained the room amenities provided with the room type we’ve booked-in (spa suite). Room did not come with standard amenity kit (no cotton pad no toothbrush no sanitary pad etc) upon check in. I had to call to ask for toothbrushes. We didn’t know that the room came with a working fireplace, free still & sparkling water, no phone directory in the room / label on the phone. And most importantly how to get room serviced or not. when we had an issue about the room not being serviced they asked us repeatedly did we put the doortag outside (we didn’t - which is the correct way to get the room serviced). If this is important, then they should make it a clear point to explain this during checkin. We had dinner at the bar, we ordered a cauliflower salad to share (among other foods). It was so disappointing to received a big bowl of spinach and 3 small pieces of dried chicken breast. Since the title of the salad is cauliflower salad, we were unimpressed that it was the one ingredient that was missing from that bowl. The salad cost almost $30 for what seems to be a bag of baby spinach salad that you could buy from coles or wollies for $3. Oh yes and dressing on that was also on existent. Upon clearing our plates, bar staff didn’t asked us how the food was & she was quite abrupt. Day 2: Had breakfast and staff was friendly and efficient. We also noticed that there’s a sign that says ‘kids club’ which we then asked the reception where it was which they then explained it was an adjoining room that had games, colouring books etc for kids (it’s school holidays) which we thought was a great idea and our son did went in to play and enjoyed it. Came back to the room, we noticed that the room wasn’t made and only the towels were changed (we didn’t request this). So we thought that they only service the rooms every 2nd night being sustainable an all. So we didn’t thought much about it, we also noticed that the maintenance didn’t come to turn on the fireplace so we followed up on that. And we had that running before they end the shift at 3pm. Honestly that was the saving grace of this trip. The fireplace is a beautiful addition to the room especially during winter. We also requested for another tv control as there’s 2 tv in the suite but only 1 remote. Day 3: Breakfast, and we noticed that the ‘kids club room’ is now converted to a meeting space which my son wasn’t very happy about. I don’t understand why they would introduce a service but then took it away midway through our stay which is still within school holiday period. There was no explanation given. Frustrating to say the least. Room was not serviced again. We began to wonder why and quickly peeked at the room across us that is currentl
