Lite Haus means little house in Norwegian. But we also named it this because of the sound of, "Light House". We hope that this space can be a place of "Light" and restoration for each person who stays- a great escape. The home is a wonderful, quick walk to Old Town Louisville (just 3 blocks away). There are plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, and boutiques to explore. The home is also a short 15 minute drive from Boulder and a scenic 25 mins. to Denver. Public bus stop is a 1/2 block away. The space The Lite Haus is connected to the owners main home, but once you are inside you'll feel like you are in your own little oasis. This mid-mod gem is impeccably clean, thoughtfully designed and fully appointed. The size is best for 1 or 2 guests. Guest access The "Lite Haus" is connected to our main home, but is its own entity, separated by a foot thick concrete wall. Park in front of house and walk down the path to the private and beautiful French door entrance. Other things to note There is plenty of storage in this little house, a large space to roll luggage under bed (bed is built so that luggage can be stored underneath). Perfect base camp for exploring the Boulder area. Quiet, just the right size, gracious hosts, and the waterfall shower is perfect after a day hiking or riding in the area. Downtown Louisville is a short walk and has some amazing restaurants including some of the best pizza around. Highly recommend.

Great Stay in the Little House I really enjoyed my stay at the Mid/Mod Little House in Old Town Louisville. The cottage is an ingeniously converted free-standing garage. The cottage has lovely touches and is very comfortable and clean. I had absolutely no issues. I was able to do my cooking in the kitchen and work at the dining room table. The Wifi worked great. The location is also awesome. Old Town Louisville is a unique gem. From the house, I could walk to the shops...especially Sweet Cow. Parking was easy on the street right in front of the property. The owners were super-friendly.

Charming and Cozy! Loved my two-night stay at the "little haus". The space is so cool!! There was a not a detail overlooked. The bed was super comfortable. The town is only 3 or 4 blocks away and is about a 15 minute drive. I would definitely stay there again.

Perfect The tiny home is so well laid out and adorned, it leaves nothing to be desired. The beds were comfy, all gadgets worked, and the space felt cozy and safe. The idyllic downtown strip of Louisville is walkable for dinner, drinks, coffee or ice cream. Jonah was a very gracious and helpful host. Would 100% stay again. Thanks!
