We stayed for one night as it was very close to an avenging event we were attending. Lovely, friendly staff, a nice pint (lots of choices of beers etc) and a great breakfast. Very peaceful night’s sleep and the room was clean, comfortable and had all essential facilities. Excellent value and would definitely recommend and stay again in future.

We booked to eat here on a recent stay in london. Having looked at the website we expected to have a few good pints and pie. Sadly we had neither. There was only one hand pump in use, with what they referred to as their house beer. It wasn't good so no beer for me sadly. What was worse was that at 7.30 on a Friday evening they had run out of pies! So disappointed. We ordered fish and chips, big mistake. Dry tasteless fish and overcooked/burnt chips. And since when are mushy peas a condiment?? About a teaspoonful in a little dish, mind you they weren't nice either so perhaps a larger portion wouldn't have been good. Not surprised that the place was almost empty at this time on a Friday evening if that is the best they can do. The woman who took our order was really rude as well.

I Stayed at the Victoria Inn on business in January and it was a very pleasent experience. Both the room and food were of a good standard and the staff were all very pleasant. HOWEVER, I have booked for another business trip in March on granted a none refundable rate of £113 but unfortunately I have just been informed of a funeral in Manchester on the day I was due to stay. I spoke to a lovely guy at the pub and asked if it was possible to move the booking back two nights (which was also £113). He tried everything in his power to make this happen, but even though it would cost them absolutely nothing the manager simply refused to move it under any circumstances. It has now however cost them money as I will not be spending any money on food and drink and will be finding somewhere else to stay the two days later and for all my future business trips to the area. All in all a none hospitable manager working in hospitality, £113 gain for them this time, but their loss in the long-term.

Rooms: Friendly staff. Attentive - served immediately at reception despite the pub being busy. Clean room with enough space, a couple of chairs and a desk. Pub: Great atmos - something for everyone - a few young families dining alongside high-spirited drinkers - a great mix Negatives: Nothing much negative - perhaps a little pricey for a room in a pub.

Excellent stay as a solo traveller. Great location for a hospital appointment at Kings College Hospital and not far from centre of London. EVERY staff member was warm, welcoming and beyond helpful. (Sorry I cannot recall anyone’s names) Room was clean, stylish and comfortable. The evening meal and breakfast were absolutely outstanding. Staff arranged a taxi for me to get to appointment as there was a train strike. Would most definitely recommend and will look forward to staying again.

We stayed at the Victoria Inn for my daughters 18th birthday celebrations as she wanted to visit a nearby horror themed escape room and the train strikes were on. The Victoria Inn staff were all super friendly and welcoming and it is a lovely pub as well as being a nice place to stay. We stayed in the luxury rooms which were a nice size with really comfy beds. The bathroom was lovely and the shower was nice and hot with shampoo etc provided. What made our visit was the staff really, I would stay there again if I was visiting Peckham. We paid extra for the breakfast but at £10 each it was superb. Definitely recommend!

WOW what a surprise. We were booked here by my daughter to stay for her wedding as she lives around the corner, and were thoughtful as I haven’t stayed in a pub for 50 years. I should not have had any concerns as this is a boutique hotel masquerading as a pub. On the phone everyone was helpful before our stay, from room selection, flexible bookings for numbers at dinner as we never knew who would turn up,cabs booked.. well. Delene took me under her wing excellent., jack her fellow supervisor efficient nothing to much to ask. Cary general manager a mother hen runs a good ship, leads by example, Ahmed a newbie will go far great attitude . Our room large superior double. Everything I could want. Dinner great menu, excellent service.started with scotch egg, for mains starter of pressed crispy lamb and for desert perfect cheese presentation. My wife had the salmon tartare, then rare steak. Accompaiements tasty garnish filling. Atmosphere lively, good music. Breakfast scrummy.eggs and salmon sublime. Sorry to sound ecstatic .I am

We stayed at The Victoria Inn for 7 nights. It is located in a lively neighborhood in Peckham, London. Staying there was a delightful experience. Every morning, we had a delicious full English breakfast, which kept us energized for a busy day of sightseeing. In the evening, we often enjoyed dinner there. We loved the beef shin pie, the fish and chips, and especially the chocolate marquise. In the evening, we enjoyed the pub scene, with the lively music. Staff couldn’t have been nicer. They were so helpful and knowledgeable. Our room was very comfortable. We had a true neighborhood pub experience. We loved this place!

You have to try the vegan fish & chips! It is delightful 😊 even for those of us who eat both meat and fish. Compliments to the kitchen as I have not had a better vegan meal anywhere. Thank you to Carly for the exceptional service. Nothing was too much trouble for her even when my daughter knocked a drink over. Dogs are mad to feel as though they are part of the family with them being offered water as our drinks order was taken. Very friendly, very comfortable & will most definitely be frequenting this establishment soon 😊
