Terrible Experience – Would Not Recommend
We had a deeply disappointing stay at Beaufort Garden in Knightsbridge. We checked in late after a long, busy day in London, hoping for a relaxing night, but the experience was far from that.
Upon entering our room, we were immediately hit with an unpleasant smell. The bathroom in particular had a strong, off-putting odor that made the space feel unclean. I called down to ask if they had a phone charger, as I had forgotten mine – not only was I ignored at first, but after some time I was simply told "no" without any offer of help or alternatives. The customer service left a lot to be desired.
The pillows in the room smelled awful and felt unclean, to the point where I couldn’t use them and had to sleep without any, which gave me a headache. The bed itself was extremely uncomfortable and creaked constantly with any movement.
Throughout the night, we heard knocking sounds and noise from reception and neighboring rooms all the way until 3am – not exactly a peaceful stay. To make things worse, I noticed flies in the room and even found an insect in the bathroom.
Given that Knightsbridge is known for its high standards and quality, this hotel was shockingly subpar and absolutely not worth the money we paid. I regret staying here, and the experience has put me off staying at any hotel in Knightsbridge again.
Avoid this place if you’re expecting anything close to comfort, cleanliness, or decent service.
