The Rosebery by Supercity Aparthotels

I stayed at The Rosebery aparthotel for 5 nights, which is located in Farringdon. I generally stay in Holborn, but wanted to try a different neighborhood. The Farringdon tube is about a 10 minute walk. There are two different bus stop a 2 minute walk from the building. It's a 5 minute walk to Exmouth Market, which has lots of interesting places to eat. There's a convenience store about a block away. The neighborhood is very quiet at night. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe walking around the neighborhood. I had a studio, which was spotless and roomy. The front desk staff very helpful. I asked for an early check-in (for 2pm), but was able to get into my room by 11Am. The only criticism (and this is on me), is that there is a bathtub instead of a walk-in shower. The tub doesn't have grab bags to get in and out of the tub, which was an issue for me. There's a stocked kitchenette and refrigerator. Wifi was excellent and I was able to get some work done and also do trip research. The microwave took some figuring out because the printout in the room doesn't match the appliance. I hope to stay here again soon. The only criticism I have is navigational, and is a Google Maps issue. I walked from the Farringdon tube. Both Google Maps and Citymapper told me to walk along Warner Street and then make a right onto Rosebery Avenue. This is not possible because Rosebery Avenue is located ABOVE Warner St. I only discovered the error when a passerby pointed out the staircase (1 Warner St on Google Maps). Before the bridge, there will be an brick arch and then take the staircase up to Rosebery Ave. or walk along Warner St until you get to Mt. Pleasant, make a right unto Mount Pleasant, and then a sharp right onto Rosebery Avenue. Perhaps instructions can be included in the emails I receive before my visit

I came to London for work in December. I really enjoyed my stay at The Rosebery. I was upgraded to a bigger suite. It was very spacious, clean, and quiet. Rooms have modern decor and heater works great. Had a huge bathroom. The kitchen is well supplied. I used the washing machine and it washed and dried my clothes within a reasonable time. Staff was friendly and helpful. The location is close to many great restaurants and very safe. When you walk out to the street and head left, there's a street a few minutes away with a variety of restaurants and bars. Pretty active night life when I walked down that area on a Thursday night. Would highly recommend this hotel when in London.

Cannot rate The Rosebery highly enough. Son had some work experience close by in Theobalds Road so this was the perfect location. We had a 2 bedroom apartment for a 2 night stay, but wish it was longer. The apartment was huge with beautiful furnishings, comfy beds, modern bathroom/shower room and kitchen area and the whole place was spotlessly clean. Reception staff were welcoming and more than happy to help. Given the cost of hotel rooms in London, we hit the jackpot finding The Rosebery, it was excellent value for money. There is a small convenience store and café very close by for supplies/breakfast and Exmouth Market is also nearby were you will find several cafe's/restaurants. We will definitely be back when next in London.

We spent 8 nights here in May in a studio apartment. We wanted a kitchen, and The Rosebery definitely had a unique kitchen. It was well stocked with plates, utensils, pots and pans as well as two stove top burners. Some of the appliances were a bit baffling - the washing machine was a dryer too, and the microwave doubled as an oven. With a bit of help, we figured it out. We didn’t pay for extra housekeeping, but the garbage was collected daily each afternoon. There was a bag of snacks and milk in the half frig upon arrival. The espresso machine had a few pods. (We brought Starbucks’ Via instant coffee, which I recommend if you don’t want to pay for Americanos at coffee places. No brewed coffee in London that we could find.) Very nice, but small, bathroom with good cotton towels. Great shower. Comfortable bed. Our unit was in the rear of the building and very sunny. We needed assistance with the temperature controls and Kervin and the maintenance man came and answered our questions. Kervin provided a bath mat and a fan for us. The windows opened, which was helpful. Very quiet for the most part, with lightning fast elevators. Good internet wi-fi. Small unit, but for London it was acceptable. Clerkenwell was away from the congested tourist areas, but close enough to restaurants in Exmouth Market and there was a small convenience store a few doors down, plus Tesco Express and Sainsbury’s grocery stores about 10 minutes away. Much construction and many traffic diversions in the area, but close bus stops made it a convenient, yet quiet place to relax after a day of sightseeing. About a 10 minute walk to the Farringdon tube. The front desk was usually staffed with someone who could summon a taxi if you needed it. We would stay here again. Thank you, Kervin and The Rosebery!

Spacious studio room. Well equipped open-plan kitchen (for 2 people only - 2 knives, forks etc), kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge. Spotlessly clean. Great power in the shower. No restaurant in the Rosebery, so get in some supplies or eat at nearby Exmouth Market or Leather Lane. Friendly 24 hour reception. No noise travelled from other rooms. I was very disappointed this wasn't' available last week for my latest trip.
