Premier Inn London Wimbledon South

Das Gebäude wird derzeit renoviert, aber das ist keine Entschuldigung für den Dreck des Ortes. Die Betten sind bequem und das Wasser war heiß und hatte einen guten Druck. Ich hatte den Eindruck, dass es kein Wartungsteam gibt und das Reinigungspersonal entweder unterbesetzt ist und sein Bestes gibt oder einfach nur faul ist

We have just returned from a most pleasant 3 night stay at the Wimbledon South Premier Inn. Our room was spacious and comfortable and perefctly matched our requirements. We had a delicious Ultimate Breakfast each morning at a very fair price. Judith in the restaurant was both friendly and most welcoming. She was very attentive and clearly doing everything she could to ensure that all guests had the best possible start to the day.

Pros: Overall a very useful location we thought. Great choice of food in the Wimbledon quarter Judith & Sanna (restaurant staff) were most welcoming & helpful. Continental breakfast was fairly good. Other staff were all pleasant. Surprisingly quiet at night if windows closed (double-glazed with extra glazed panel). Free parking (though not bookable). Short stroll to Underground (1km). Cons: Probably gets warm in the summer (we went in April) Other points: Bed (mattress/pillows) was fine, but nothing special (as per adverts). Poly-cotton sheets (only an issue if you're used to 100% cotton) Fairly clean, but a little tired around the corners. A reasonably quiet area I guess for a city, though a lot of blue lights/sirens until 11pm. Nearby collection of food outlets. It looked like odd numbered rooms face north (onto A24) and even numbered rooms face south.

Very convenient, few minutes to the nearest tube station. Lots of shops around. Room was clean and staff were great. Free parking is an added bonus. Only thing to complain is that we could hear footsteps of the room above us. It was louder than any other Premier Inn that we stayed.

Nice pleasant stay at this hotel. Breakfast was ok. The staff were lovely especially Judith Luminita. I really wanted a hot chocolate but unfortunately the machine had broken. Judith was so kind and managed to get me one. She also went above and beyond with a few different things for the kids regarding breakfast too. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Stayed at the hotel whilst in London for an event at the O2. Rooms were clean and comfortable with plenty of tea and coffee options available. Super breakfast prepared by Jenny , who ensured the items available were constantly available. Highlight was the great customer service by breakfast host, Judith. What a super, friendly and welcoming lady. Nothing was too much trouble. Always ready with a smile first thing in the morning. Would not hesitate to stay here again for a visit to London. Only 8 minutes walk to the Northern Line and right opposite a Sainsbury’s superstore for all of your last minute needs.

Stayed here the night before a family funeral. Location, car parking, staff, room, breakfast were all good. Noise from room above us disturbed our sleep late into night and again from 6am. Hotel had a lot of rugby tournament competitors staying, assume they were up there practicing tackles! Only given two towels for a room for three guests. Other than that all was good.

Quick, easy and welcoming check in. Very comfortable bed, Spacious room, Lovely hot breakfast but orange juice had run out, the were other hot and cold drinks available though . Overall a great stay and very close to the family party we were attending.

When going away for a few days, always try and stay at a Premier Inn, basically because you know what to expect from them. Had a few days in London, stayed at Premier Inn South Wimbledon (Colliers Wood) have stayed before. Checking in so easy, good sized room, lovely comfy large bed, toiletries and towels provided. Also tea/coffee makings (if you run out, just ask at reception). Always a good breakfast, with ample choice, met and greeted each morning by the host Judith. Always time for a smile a chat and help if needed. Thank you Judith. This Premier Inn is just a short walk from the underground, with a 20 minute journey direct to Central London (Waterloo or Leicester Square) which is ideal if wanting to see a show....would really recommend Les Miserables. This Premier Inn falls within Londons ULEZ, but is outside the Congestion Charge Zone ( if travelling from the South via M25 Junction 10) there is ample free parking here as long as you enter reg details with reception.
