On arrival my room wasn't ready. I waited in my friends room, we heard lots of shouting and then I was told they had a different room ready for me and I was shown to a twin room. I was just unpacking when there was a knock on the door and a man told me I had to go to a different room. This turned out to be a single room in the attic, I said I wasn't happy with the room and the gentleman replied extremely rudely, there's photos on the website of the room. Unfortunately, my friend booked the room and didn't look at the photos or reviews. We had a concert to go to and had travelled a long way and it was too late to go elsewhere. When I got back to the guest house later that evening, I looked at the photos on the website and the cleanliness etc of the room was completely different to the room I was sat in! The room was so dirty and unkempt that I didn't even want to get in the bed! There was no wardrobe only a small set of drawers which you couldn't access due to them being wedged in-between the bottom of the bed and the wall, stains and burn marks on the floor, the bathroom was so dirty I didn't even want to go in there for a shower! So after a very sleepless night, I thought I would help the guest house out by taking some more up to date photos for them!

Recently stayed here for one night with my sister in a double room for a concert. The location is great within 5 minutes walk from South Ealing tube, Sainsbury’s local and a few cafes. The welcome from staff on arrival was good, however the room was basic tea/coffee making facilities, WiFi, a fridge, hairdryer (ok for one night we only needed a bed and a shower) this place is not a luxury hotel it does what it says on the tin. It does have a shared kitchen that can be used however the oven door was missing which we discovered after buying a pizza to cook! The staff member kindly let us use his oven downstairs to cook our food which was very much appreciated. Very small tea/coffee cups more like a mouthful and the wine glasses available in the kitchen were not the cleanest so we resorted to buying some at the shop. For a bed and a shower for the night this place does you for what you need, if you can get over the fact it is basic then you will be fine here. I would probably stay here again but not for more then one night or if I wanted something abit fancy.

What can I say do not go here it’s nothing like the photos , old, mouldy, scruffy , rubbish in bins from previous guests, dirty ! The bathroom is tiny , door didn’t shut , mould in shower both pink and black , had to be a gymnast to hold the door shut while bent double to get under the shower which wouldn’t stay up the rail, scalded me and wouldn’t adjust and leaked ! Disgraceful place I could go on and on !

Please avoid don’t normally put bad feedback but this was a shocker, on arrival stood outside for 10 minutes to be let in , room door was broken and couldn’t get in took ages and when we got in tv didn’t work and extractor fan was screaming , rang owner who only offered us a refund and go south else !! Did get back at midnight to find a new telly and fan removed leaving a hole in the wall . Bed was comfy tho but that’s the only plus

I'll start with the positive. Excellent location for South Ealing station, the chap that let us in was lovely and the doors are rather fancy. I think that's it. My booking was for two double rooms, but on arrival we were told that we had been assigned a double and a twin. Whilst it wasn't what we'd booked it wasn't the greatest inconvenience so we let it go. Upstairs our rooms were basic and dated, think dodgy student accommodation, but we were heading out so dropped our luggage and went. We arrived back at the guest house from a concert shortly after midnight and crept in and up the stairs as we didn't want to disturb any sleeping residents. Well, at 4am in the morning we regretted our considerate choices as there was an almighty din as people started crashing about, in and out of rooms, doors slamming and people shouting. I can only assume that the mouse we think we heard whilst lying awake in the dark had found its way into the room of a family of elephants. Sleep for all four of us was fitful, but the advantage of this was we were awake early enough to properly appreciate the level of basic cleanliness that was missing from our rooms. It was like the before scenes from the Hotel Inspector and I kept waiting for Alex Polizzi to appear from behind one of the ornate doors (perhaps more money on the cleaning budget rather than fancy woodwork should have been a consideration in the business plan). In our double room the walls, ceiling and floor were dirty and I had to clean both the sink and toilet in the ensuite. The inconsistently flushing toilet required kettles of water to be poured down it to flush. The kettle which still had water in it from previous guests. Whilst we're on the toilet, I nearly wasn't, as the seat was only attached at one side. It's ok though, as although I managed to avoid that injury, both myself and our friend managed to headbutt the glass shelf above the sink when cleaning our teeth. I hadn't initially noticed a problem with its location, but there clearly was one. Even the soap was already dirty in the bathroom, and if you can't have clean soap, what hope is there!? The curtains weren't attached to all the rings and the bedside drawers had tea stains on them. There was a layer of dust covering most surfaces. The bed was clean enough to not feel uncomfortable sleeping in it, but the sheets were bobbly/itchy and the duvet covers in the twin room smelt musty, like they had been left wet for too long before drying. Perhaps this was actually an attempt at making the room atmospheric as it matched the mushroom print on the duvet cover itself. In our double room, we began to regret our life choices and wish we'd fought for the twin room as the roll together meant that my wife and I ended up sleeping on top of each other. We've been married far too long for actual physical contact in bed. As mentioned, the kettle was still full of water from previous guests which, from hours of watching 4 in a Bed, I know is a no-no. We stayed here for 1 night as we were visiting the area for a festival. The location was perfect as it was close by to the station. The man who greeted us was very friendly & helpful. We asked if we were able to check in a little earlier due to the time of the festival starting in which he let us check in an hour early (I know this might not always be possible though!) He asked us that if there was anything we needed to just let him know which was nice. The room was a basic double room but it was absolutely fine for 1 night. We were left with some bottles of water and a little care kit which had a toothbrush, shower cap, body wash etc in. The room was a little dated in terms of decor but again was fine for the night. The bed was very comfortable!!

The only positive about my experience in this hotel was that it was free parking. The hotel was not clean, the shared kitchen area was disgusting and smelt like it hadn't been cleaned in days. There were broken equipment including electrical socket. The drinking glasses were not clean, and were only rinsed with water when this was pointed out. The slats on the bed I was lying on broke, this was due to them being held together with gaffa tape. There answer was to expect me to sleep on the floor using two mattresses on top of each other. The next night at 10pm we were given a family room, however one shower wouldn't turn to hot and the other leaked into a hall way.

This is one of the worst places I have ever stayed! It’s like a hostel and needs a good clean amongst many other things, the room absolutely stinks as soon as you open the door and I was sure it was the plastic mouldy shower curtain. The bin in the bathroom was full of tissue paper from the previous occupant so whoever had “cleaned” it, clearly didn’t do a good job. The window doesn’t lock or shut, the bathroom mat was disgusting and then I found hairs in the bed that were definitely not mine so can only assume they hadn’t been washed either. Room was booked for two and only one mug although, we stuck to bottled water, no way were we using the mug if the cup in the bathroom was anything to go by. Curtain was about a foot too long and sat on the floor and didn’t cover the window as it lacked curtain hooks. Table and chairs…. One chair matched the chairs that were sitting in the garden area, furniture was like something out of the 80’s. The carpets in the hall and stairway needed a good hoover. Hairs stuck to the wall in the bathroom, dusty fan above the shower. Music started about 2am the first night we were there which sounded like some kind of bhangra. On arrival the chap said a double and a twin, no, we booked two doubles so that sounds familiar from other reviews. The only good thing was that it is very close to South Ealing station and a little cafe up the road for breakfast… do yourselves a favour and don’t book here as judging by the reviews we have seen, they don’t give a stuff!! The best bit is your journey away from there, not keen on leaving a bad review but this time, it’s justified…

Great place to stay. We turned up and had booked a twin room. The manager said we had a double room, and a a result gave us the family room at no extra cost. The staff are extremely kind and considerate and there was free parking right outside with direct links to Central London. We left our keys at a music venue on the first night and the manager waited up for us to come back and let us in. An absolute geltleman. We highly recommend this place, we will be be back. Thank you Aron guest house!
