Last night of a motorcycle tour of Spain and Portugal Location was great - out of Portes town and just a few hours ride to Santander Hotel was dated but clean and tidy. Rooms need modernising Friendly staff. Evening meal was great but breakfast disappointing

comfortable lodgings, my room had a balcony that was pleasing to sit in, the service was good and patient and informative. it was fun to walk around this very tiny town and the road on which we arrived. so many different flowers in this season. seems like other guests can to hike.

A Unique Old Fashioned Bed and Breakfast
This is a unique place. It has a lot of character and is nestled into a small town in Spain. They spoke fairly good English and were quick to respond to our requests and available at all hours. The only confusing thing we ran into was we expected a traditional continental breakfast which was what the concierge called the breakfast. However, it wasn’t. The kitchen staff served the simple breakfast and it wasn’t an all you can eat. They simply brought a drink per person, 2 small pancakes per person, a slice of sweet bread, 2 slices of bread and small packed jelly and butter. I would suggest ordering from their breakfast menu which has a better selection and is pretty decently priced. Overall, I really loved the place.

Basic but nice accomodation in a sleepy village with little else. Restaurant food was nice but a bit expensive as was the beer. no other options available without a long drive to another village.

We spent a lovely 3 days in this pretty and friendly hotel. It had a real family run feel to it and we felt very well looked after. The rooms are a little dated, but clean and comfortable and we had a beautiful wide balcony with stunning mountain views. The village is very peaceful and unspoilt and made a perfect base for exploring the eastern side of the Picos de Europa.

We booked a room for three nights one month in advance asking for a superior room. The reservation came with a picture of a cozy room with balcony with chairs and table. At the arrival they gave us a little poor room with no balcony, saying that was one of their best rooms. No way to have a change. Little and old bathroom (difficult to use even alone). We had booked with breakfast and dinner, and after our complaints, we were offered different menu than other guests. We had 6 choices for dinner, and when my wife made her choice she was told it was impossible to have. We decide not to eat in the hotel the next two dinners but they charged us the same price. However, the hotel was clean.
