房間大小可以，就是整體樓梯有點老，沒有電梯，但是也不影響，是另外一種體驗，也不錯…
就是床太小，其他都很好…

Wir hatten die Grouse Moor Suite, sehr schön und sehr gemütlich, mit toller Aussicht in den Park. Das Bad war schön und modern und wunderbar beheizt. Es ist ein schönes, gemütliches Landhotel, in dem man sich sofort wohl und willkommen fühlt. Alle waren sehr nett, das Personal sehr freundlich, das Essen sehr gut. Auch der Afternoon Tea hat uns sehr gefallen. Wir sind froh, dieses Hotel entdeckt zu haben, ein Aufenthalt lohnt sich!

A beautiful building with a pleasant old-style ambience. We were allotted Heron room.It was the worst room and potentially the most dangerous room we’ve ever slept in . The lighting was poor (single standard lamp only) and the positioning of the bed was dire .On the right hand side the access was difficult and potentially hazardous past a hot radiator. The left hand side was restricted by the desk( of no use as Wi-Fi was rubbish )which was right against the bed and had a glass top with sharp corners which could have caused a serious injury. The food was good and the staff friendly and efficient although we sometimes had to hunt someone down to man the bar on occasion. We feel that the room could be improved and made less hazardous by removing the desk,centring the bed and installing bedside cabinets with lighting . In your advertising of a classic double room no way represents Heron . Suggest someone from management and partner experience a night in Heron

The hotel is an amazing place to stay the staff was welcoming. Even they don’t normally do shots they went out their way to make our group some, gluten free was well catered for and had no issues. The only thing I can say is we stayed in the Teal suite and during the night about 3 o’clock in the morning I felt something shake my bed and crawl in on top of me, it scared me a bit, but I told it to leave me alone and nothing else happened. The hotel has lovely grounds and enjoyed walking to the lake and just relaxing.

Lunch with friends - fantastic experience! We recently met up for lunch with friends here as we knew from past experience what a lovely place it is. We chose the 3 course lunch (which is excellent value) and it didn’t disappoint. Everything was perfect - the setting, the food and especially the service. We were looked after from the minute we arrived. Would highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back

This hotel is a beautiful hidden gem, absolutely beautiful. Paul welcomed us with such warmth & kindness, Charlie was amazing too, what lovely people. The evening meal & breakfast were delicious in a beautiful dining room, stunning! We will definitely be back next year..can't wait.

With only 21 rooms this is a small yet stunning hotel, such a homely feeling and very relaxed. The staff were fantastic , true Yorkshire hospitality (my wife is from Whitby lol). The weather was great and enjoyeing a bottle of wine on the lawn was just like days gone such was the lavish surroundings. We met up with family for lunch, the sandwiches are exceptional triple bread,the soup was also quality.It was such a pleasant space to spend the entire afternoon conversing , catching up and relaxing. We stayed two nights and the meals were very good as were the cooked breakfasts , the poached eggs were boarding on not being runny though. We will definitely be returning when we visit family in Whitby as we truly loved the experience and surroundings.

A lovely experience. The grounds and setting are wonderful. The room (De Luxe) overlooked the lake and was nicely appointed, clean and a lovely sized bathroom. The staff were very attentive, especially Anthony, the barman. Food was a delightful surprise, English based but beautifully presented & cooked. The breakfast was lovely (and very hot!) and had us full for the rest of the day. If I had a criticism it was that after driving for a couple of hours, we wanted coffee and cake What we got was a couple of tiny pieces of cake each from the afternoon tea selection and were charged £6.95 for those on top of the cost for coffee. A lovely quiet & relaxing place for a night away close to Whitby, Saltburn and Staithes

Absolutely fabulous stay in this beautiful Hotel, could not fault it from checking in to leaving. The staff were very friendly and the room was great with some nice touches. The grounds are lovely and the breakfast was just perfect would definitely visit again.
