Facilities in the room were basic but clean. There was a balcony overlooking a small lake which was really lovely with geese and ducks around. The area was well kept with picnic tables and there were lots of dog walkers. Breakfast was available at the services next door but we did not use them. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

I was greeted as a returning customer but hadn’t been there for 17years  The staff were very friendly and helpful and polite  The service I received was excellent and the food was excellent that I received  The first room I stayed in was a little bit tired but as it’s a single bed room it was more than acceptable  The second night was a different room as I extended my stay and was a superior single and was more in price but I found it to be excellent  A great hotel with great staff and would recommend a stay if you’re passing through Lockerbie or need a hotel base in the area

Meine Reise , war gestört, bevor wir sogar an das Hotel angekommen, wir kontaktierten Alison in der Village In, um ihr zu raten, wir wären viel später als erwartet und müssen früher als erwartet am nächsten Tag gehen. Sie war sehr gut zu Hause und ging aus ihrem Weg, um zu helfen und einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt zu bieten. Ich würde sicher wieder zurückkommen, wenn ich in der Gegend bin.
