A fantastic place for food……home cooked steak and ale pie was truly spectacular! Lovely warm welcome from the landlady. Gorgeous surroundings and nice selection of ales to drink. Big car park makes getting here very easy. If you like pies……….give it a try! 🙂

What a beautiful find. A very traditional place that just does what it says on the tin. Super comfy bed and just fantastic food! Stayed here for a night in August and decided to sit outside for a couple of drinks before dinner to enjoy the lovely view. Chose fish and chips for dinner for me and hubby which was perfect, compliments to the chef. After a perfect sleep, woke up to what must be the best breakfast we have ever had. This is where myself and hubby differ … he prefers quantity, whereas I prefer quality. Must say, breakfast served us both very well. It was extremely generous and the quality first class, possibly the best breakfast we have ever been served, and we have travelled!! Huge thank you to the lovely staff at Brittania for making our weekend perfect. Will definitely be back in the near future.

Omg loved this place great views ,great friendly staff ,food was amazing,had to wait 15 mins for food but was worth it ,a busy little gem will revisit again and again ,very child friendly water for dogs great outside seating area and outside bar roll on summer can,t wait oh and kids ate for a pound during Easter half term great value
