Das Zimmer war nicht das sauberste! Staubsauger und schmutziges Licht an der Seite des Bettes. Keine Plug-Sockets neben den Betten. Das Bad/Dusche war auch nicht die sauberste. Im Autopark fand eine Hochzeit/Funktion mit lauten, schreienden rüberliegenden Gästen und viel antisoziales Verhalten innerhalb und außerhalb des Hotels statt, das über die ganze Nacht passiert. Kinder, die rund um alle Etagen des Hotels laufen, scheinen das Hotelpersonal zu einem blinden Blick auf alles, was passiert war. Das Essen war schön und billig. Das Hotel war in der Regel ok, hätte es nicht gesagt, es war ein vier-Sterne-Hotel, aber am besten drei.

Ich war hier für meinen 30. Geburtstag mit meiner Frau, wir wurden von der Rezeption getroffen und sie war wunderschön und gab uns alle Informationen, die wir brauchen. Unser Zimmer war absolut wunderschön und wir waren sehr glücklich mit ihm! Die Lage war brillant mit Geschäften, Bars und Restaurants alle in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß entfernt! Eine Sache, die wir lieben, war die wunderschöne weltbewohnende Atmosphäre. Wir haben auch hier gewählt, zu essen und das Essen war absolut erstaunlich und mehr als vernünftig bezahlt. Eine negative Sache muss gesagt werden, obwohl es einen Mann (Ich vermute, Restaurant/Vorsitz des Hausmanagers) war sehr freundlich zu dem Personal und sprach mit ihnen schrecklich. Es schien, als ob die Mitarbeiter fast Angst vor ihm hatten und er war nicht glücklich, bis er eine Entschuldigung von der Mitarbeiter, sowohl mich als auch meine Frau dachten, es war ziemlich schrecklich zu sehen. Aber außerdem war unsere Erfahrung insgesamt erstaunlich und wird sicherlich zurückkehren. Absolut empfehlen, jemand, der hier bleiben will!

Went for afternoon tea with a group of ladies, really tasty food, excellent value for money in lovely surroundings. There was a selection of sandwiches, scones with cream and jam, multiple cakes plus quiche and wedges a lovely surprise and they were tasty. Lots of tea and coffee and the service was excellent too, can’t fault it for the price, at £20 a head it’s one of the best afternoon teas I’ve had. Will definitely be back for more.

Die klimatisierte Zimmer weiß nicht, wie man es öffnet. Es gibt ein Paket mit frühen Abenden. Der Abendburger ist sehr lecker und mehr Geld und Bier auf 2.5 ist besser. Es gibt viele Tiere, die man schmecken kann, nicht Angst vor Menschen. Drei Tage lang, am ersten Tag traf ich ein Paar neue Leute, die dort heiraten.

Arrived and followed the comprehensive instructions to gain access to the property, find our room and collect parking permit - all went without a hitch. Nearby carpark has lots of space but can drop off at the door. Pass works across the county which is a real bonus. Room was dramatically decorated in dark tones and floral paper - and really worked. We had said we were bringing our dog - a bed and bowls were waiting for her in our room. Fresh ground coffee and cafetière in the room too. Small details - big impression. We had breakfast on both mornings - wonderful Welsh breakfast (with amazing bacon) freshly cooked to order. Dining area is informal and full of interesting art. In the basement there is a fantastic 20-seat cinema. Gavin & Chris put on films with a themed 2-course menu that residents can attend, but is open to locals - we got a quick preview: sound quality and seating are impressive and the setting is unique. Look at their website for details - we want to return for the experience. Perfect location to explore the whole town on foot; garden furniture to sit quietly and read if you want. Lovely hosts, lovely stay in this historic but very comfortable quirky accommodation.
