"Accommodation is very rustic/basic. Nothing on site but a swimming pool. No restaurant or bar/cafe looks like its been left/closed for a while & the hot tub is out of service/boarded up. Very basic kitchen with very limited items not even a wine glass! Although the lovely Ana in reception managed to get us some & some extra coathangers as we only had 5 & replace our broken corkscrew almost immediately. She was very helpful especially when i had a fall on the uneven cobbled area outside our accommodation. It was very noisy we were on the ground floor & could hear every noise from the appartment above, behind & to the side of us. It's very peaceful when there's no one around. Although in a beautiful spot its in the middle of knowwhere. There is nothing around no supermarket nearby just a local restaurant a stones throw away which is very good & very busy with the locals but only open at lunchtimes. Nearest shop is in the next village miles away. There is a hotel 15-20 mins walk away with a bar & restaurant open day/evening which is good/friendly. So you really need a car to get anywhere even the beach (Vidiago) which is by a campsite but very beautiful. Lots of stunning beaches in the area & not far from the Picos mountains. Weather is very mixed/changeable here. As there's no aircon or fan think it would be unbearable in the really hot weather. Could do with an update as feel it lacks care & attention. Not sure we would return due to the lack of facilities."

"An amazingly contemporary room in a classical Spanish building. Staff exceptionally friendly, hotel spotlessly clean. We visited on returning to the UK by Port Santander ferry. Recommended to all travellers who need to break the journey. We had a seven hour drive from Galicia and it was a very welcome break."

"I had a very nice and relaxed stay, met by a friendly and service minded owner who even spoke some Swedish. The music theme and the beautiful art covering the walls throughout gives a great vibe. I was in The Beatles room in a very comfortable bed with fine linen. I had a cooked breakfast downstairs in the morning that was finished off with a decadent Orio desert on the owner’s insistence. I’d love to be back again when he and his sons have an evening with live music. Absolutely recommended."

"The hotel is on the edge of the leisure port and the view from the front facing windows is stunning. Unfortunately the hotel is not as good as the view. The rooms are very dated with old carpets in the room and the drapes are non existent so the room is very light at night. Decent bathroom though albeit with a half bath"
