This hotel is in need of a remodel. My bathroom tub surround was all delaminating, curtain rod loose so curtain didn’t stay in place and burnt out lights over sink. Table with microwave on it was leaning and carpet felt icky. Also came in one night after dinner and whole second floor hallway smelled like ****. Everything in my suitcase, even clothes I didn’t wear, smelled and had to be washed when I got home. Breakfast area fridge was full of expired yogurt. Only reason I gave a 2 rating rather than 1 is because the mattress was super comfortable and the guy running the front desk was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

I had a poor experience at the Sheraton in Novi while staying with a family member to celebrate a belated Christmas as we weren't able to get together around Christmas proper. While I was upgraded to a room on the club lounge floor, the guest room I received was not clean by any definition of clean. There was hair on the desk and desk chair, hair on the toilet, hair under the toilet seat, hair on the wrapped bar of soap and soap dish, stains on the desk, and stains on the face tissue container. The single bathrobe hanging in the closet appeared to have been previously worn and didn't have a cincture. On my reservation I specifically requested only 100% feather pillows. My reservation also requested a bathrobe, slippers, extra pillows and extra towels. I didn't receive any of those things. The four pillows were four polyester down-alternative pillows. Those pillows are horrible. They always feel like someone stuffed cotton balls in a pillowcase. During check-in I noticed a sign at the front desk saying daily housekeeping is not provided, unless specially requested. The major cleanliness issues that I experienced are a direct result of what happens when hotels don't clean rooms and other spaces each and every day. I received zero Marriott Bonvoy elite status recognition. Specifically, I was not offered the choice at check-in of breakfast in the restaurant, an amenity or points. I complained to the general manager, who to his credit acknowledged the lack of cleanliness was unacceptable, fully apologized and took responsibility. To resolve the issue, he offered to comp my stay and ensure that the room was thoroughly cleaned while we were out of the room and off-property at a nearby shopping mall. He also apologized for the lack of Bonvoy recognition and provided the $100 cash compensation that is required by Marriott for not offering guest with platinum or higher Bonvoy status the choice at check-in of breakfast in the restaurant, an amenity or points. When we returned, the room was properly cleaned. The pillows were replaced with feather pillows, although none of the feather pillows had pillow protectors or pillowcase liners. Two clean bathrobes and two pairs of slippers were placed in the closet. The general manager was also kind enough to leave a bottle of wine in the room. My family member was really appreciative of that gesture. Despite the issues, the staff that I encountered throughout the stay were polite, welcoming and hospitable. That aside, there was zero excuse for the cleanliness issues or the lack of attention to what was specified on the reservation The club lounge was open with an average evening offering that included a selection of assorted cheeses, crackers, grapes, fruit and some basic canapés. Besides free nonalcoholic drinks, an honor bar featured cheap house wine ($5 retail bottles of wine) selling for $5 a glass. The club lounge is a nice smaller space. Wir waren dort für einen schnellen Urlaub. Schnell einchecken mit sehr angenehmem Personal. Es wurde ein erfreuliches Frühstück und Kaffee gegeben - ich nehme an als Elite Bonvoy Mitglied. Zimmer war groß, sauber und großartig Aussicht vom 12. Stock war schön. Einfach überall von dieser Lage zu erreichen.

Das Hotel ist insgesamt sauber und gut unterhaltsberechtigt. Wenn wir aber einchecken, war unser Zimmer nicht bereit bis ca. 3:25 Uhr, was sehr enttäuschend war, da wir sehr müde von der Fahrt lange Stunden waren. In der Nacht war der Reinigungsmann im Lobby sehr laut, laut auf seinem Telefongespräch, während wir versuchten, zu entspannen und Kaffee zu haben, so verließen wir den ganzen Lobby für ihn und gingen in unsere Zimmer.

The outside of this hotel makes it look quite clean and accommodating however, looks are deceiving. I was booked a room for 2 nights, (not cheap) and was assigned a room at the back of the hotel. The room was not as clean as it should be. The lamp in the corner was broken, there is a distinct lack of accessible plugs for laptops and cell phone. The carpet looked like it needed a good shampoo and the chair by the bed definitely needed an upholstery clean. The bathroom was far from clean with a dirty tissue dispenser, a portable mirror on the vanity was absolutely filthy underneath and the tile calking on the floor was brown with heavy staines. Even the room number on the telephone did not match the actual room number. The room safe was unable to be opened as the previous guest had locked it and left it with their own combination. Don't waste your hard earned money on this place. I decided to only stay the one night.

Ich komme jedes Jahr in dieses Gebiet für eine klassische Autofahrt und besuche Familie. Das ist das nächste Hotel zu meiner Familie. Dieser Besuch des Zimmers wurde mit einem duftenden Geruch überwunden. Der einzige Weg, um es zu bekämpfen, war, die A/C sehr hoch zu laufen und das Badezimmer Faning zu halten. Nach einem Tag in der Sonne würden wir wieder zu diesem Eiskasten kommen. Ohne das Zimmer geräuchert zu machen und keiner der Linen würde trocken. Und es war nicht wirklich so nass. Das Wifi war auch sehr glitzig. Das sind genug Faktoren, dass ich nächstes Jahr nicht wieder in dieses Hampton Inn kommen werde.

Ich hatte nichts anderes als Probleme mit diesem Hotel. Ich war nur für Arbeit dort und mein Job bezahlte es. Zum ersten Mal, als ich vor etwa einem Monat da war, sagten sie mir, sie brauchten meine Kreditkarte, um eine Einzahlung zu halten. Ich wurde dann für das Zimmer anstelle einer pendenden Haltestelle bezahlt. Ich gehe immer noch mit ihrem Buchhalterdienst zurück und versuchen, diese Gebühr abzuziehen. Als ich zum ersten Mal dort war, sollte ich auch einen Tagungsraum für mich haben. Als ich zum Vordertisch ging, hatten sie keine Ahnung, was ich brauchte. Ich habe ihnen den Vertrag gezeigt, mein Boss hat mich gesandt und sie nahmen 30 Minuten, um ein Zimmer letzte Minute zu zerkleinern. Ich musste meine Sitzung spät beginnen, weil das Hotel vergessen hat, das Zimmer zu bauen. Die zweite Zeit, die ich gestern Abend geblieben habe, als ich ins Auge geh, sagen sie mir, dass es keine Karte auf der Datei gibt und ich muss für das Zimmer zahlen! Ich sagte ihnen, dass es falsch ist und rief meinen Boss. Die Frau am Vorderbüro rief auch ihren Boss an und sagte mir, dass es abgewickelt wurde, aber ich musste meine Karte für die Deposition absetzen. Ich sagte ihr, sie bezahlten mich das letzte Mal für das Zimmer, sie versprach mir, dass es nicht wieder passieren würde. Heute prüfe ich meine Erklärungen und ich habe eine noch ausstehende Gebühr für $100, die Einlage, und eine zufällige $35 Gebühr, dass ich keine Ahnung, was für! Ich rufe morgen an, um zu versuchen, es zu lösen, aber ich kann einfach nicht glauben, die Probleme, die ich mit diesem Hotel hatte. Ich reise mit diesem Unternehmen und habe nie so viele Probleme wie das zuvor!
