Travelodge Liverpool Central the Strand Bewertungen

My partner is currently away in the merchant navy and has been since October and will not be home until after the new year, his ship was to dock in Liverpool and the 24th on which I would be able to see him for a couple of hours, due to train issues in the past from my location to Liverpool, I decided I would make the safe choice and travel down the night before and stay in a hotel to ensure I would be able to arrive at the ship on time. Having working for travelodge and knowing it’s a trusted brand I thought this would be a good choice as it’s close by to the docks as well. I came to check in lovely staff, made my way up to the room, and all was well for the majority of the stay however it took me about 4 hours to travel down, I was extremely tired and need the rest before going to see my partner the next day I’m also epileptic which is effected by sleep disturbances generally it’s not a problem and have have no issues in hotels unless there is excessive noise, I woke up at about 4am to which there was an extremely loud dragging and banging noise coming from the room above this confined on for about 45 minutes, it wasn’t the sound of suitcases it was something much heavier and sounds like furniture such as the arm chair being dragged across the floor, as I said this confined on for about 45 minutes making it so I was unable to sleep and then struggled to get back to sleep there after, I looked for the contact card in the room to see if I could call reception to let them know however I could not find one, and the internet signal even though I paid for wifi seemed to be lacking and I was unable to search online and find the number. Being there as a single female I’m sure you could understand I did not feel comfortable going down stairs by myself at this time of night to alert a member of staff so I just had to put up with it and try and sleep. After this once I got up and started to get ready I was sat on the chair at the desk and leaned forwarded to look the mirror as I leaned to sit back into the chair the fell over backwards and onto the sofa bad and I subsequently then fell onto the floor bruising myself on the bars of the sofa bed, as well as the floor. I understand these things happen however I was trying to get ready to leave I ended up getting later after finally being able to get back to sleep was trying to get ready and then this happened again I know these types of things happen however I was in a rush and trying to get ready so this was the last thing I needed, hence the fact I was not able to let a member of staff know when I left as I was in a rush to leave after waking late due to lack of sleep later on in the night/earlier in the morning and was then also late to get on the ship To have such then loud noises happening above my room for 45 minutes at 4 in the morning and not be able to tell anyone as there is no call card in the room with a number on and the wifi not working, and to then also fall of the chair which was broke
